RCFN Chapter 9

Chapter 9

When Mu Tian Heng stepped into the ward and saw the teenager sitting up, his heart felt a jolt for a moment and skipped a beat.

The boy on the bed had blue and purple bruises on his face but his eyes were like an ink painting covered with stars. He looked at him with all his heart and soul, with expectations, gratitude, and an indescribable emotion. It was like admiration but there was also something else.

Mu Tian Heng had a slight pause in his steps. He had to cast out a certain budding thought in his head. It seemed he had been influenced by Lai De Si. He could not believe that he had given birth to such ridiculous and savage thoughts.

“How are you feeling?”

Mu Tian Heng walked over and stopped by Mo Di’s bed, “Does your head still hurt? Is there anywhere that’s particularly uncomfortable?”

“My head doesn’t hurt anymore. Only my face, left arm and right leg still hurt a little. Thank you brother.”

Lai De Si who happened to hear this immediately shouted: “Who’re you calling brother, little fellow? He’s eleven years older than you. Calling him uncle is more like it!”

“But brother doesn’t look like an uncle. He’s very young, very…” Mo Di lowered his head stiffly. “Very handsome. The most handsome person I have ever met.”

Lai De Si at once was jealous with grief. He was now eighty percent certain that this kid had fallen for his perverted best friend!

Shit! Such a heartache. Why were there so many beautiful women and handsome men falling for Mu Tian Heng! Yet no one would even spare him a glance!

Mu Tian Heng was in a complicated mood. If it weren’t for Lai De Si’s foolish babble from before, he would have accepted the praise without any misgiving, and might even have rubbed the child’s head, but now…

Sigh….

However, he would not because of that and assume that the child actually liked him.

“I’m already twenty eight. I’m indeed older than you quite a bit but you can call me uncle or brother. Whichever is fine.” Mu Tian Heng pulled a chair over and sat down. He smiled and said: “You need to have a good rest and listen to the doctor. I heard from your principal that you’re a senior?”

“Yes.” Mo Di nodded.

“Are you about to take the college entrance exam? Is it on the 7th and 8th of June?”

“Yes, there are only twenty days left till the exams.” Mo Di frowned and said anxiously, “I hope I can get better soon so as to not affect my performance.”

“You’ll be fine. I wish you success in your exams in advance.”

“Thank you brother. Can… can I…” Mo Di cast a careful and expectant look at Mu Tian Heng and held his breath nervously: “Can I have brother’s contact information? When I’m better, I would like to invite you for dinner.”

F***!!!!

Lai De Si just wanted to *fly to the sky and spin 720 degrees and then stab himself with a big fork. He was very envious. This beautiful boy named Mo Di had definitely fallen for his beast of a friend! *TN: sounds weird but that’s really what the author wrote

Mu Tian Heng paused for a bit then said: “You don’t have to treat me to dinner. I’m just glad that you’re ok. As for anything else…” Seeing the child’s originally bright and expectant eyes turned dim, Mu Tian Heng could not bear to finish his sentence.

Ai…well, anyway, his phone number in Hua Xia had already been in use for several months now.

“How about this, tell me your number and I’ll send you a message later?”

“Okay!” Mo Di immediately got excited. He raised his head and tried to nod hard. As a result, his wounds were pulled and he hissed in pain.

Mu Tian Heng’s eyes slightly bent unnoticeably and a little smile flashed between the deep and noble brows.

In fact, the child’s appearance not only poked at his heart but his personality was also very likeable.

It’s just that he’s too young.

Mu Tian Heng and Lai De Si did not stay for long and they left after less than ten minutes.

When the door of the ward closed and footsteps could no longer be heard, Mo Di’s restrained and obedient face, with the shy and expectant eyes, disappeared without a trace.

Mo Di laid flat on the bed and closed his eyes.

The choice to be Mu Tian Heng’s lover….may really be beneficial for his next plans.

But for the time being, there were still some things that he could not do. Or rather, at the moment, he was unwilling to do so. After all, he was not down to his last resort yet.

However, this alternative, he will keep it in mind.

As for taking advantage of Mu Tian Heng….he could only say sorry.

That night, Mo Di received the text from Mu Tian Heng. He did not reply immediately but continued to revise his strategy.

After his rebirth, he would never let go of his chance to enter Jing Da. Although not going to college would not prevent him from re-establishing his company, Jing Da was definitely a good platform and springboard.

To him, english and mathematics were very simple. He was not worried. But science and Chinese, he still had to review. After all it had been so many years, the knowledge he had learned was also blurred.

After he had reviewed his tasks for the night, Mo Di turned on his computer to check on the current situation of the Mo family. Unexpectedly, he found a piece of terrific news.

His good father Mo Shi Hong was admitted to the hospital!

And it was this exact hospital.

The Mo family members did not know that the forgotten Mo Di was just nearby. Besides, no one even noticed that he had not come home since yesterday. Everyone was frantic with Mo Shi Hong’s situation.

“Shi Hong, are you feeling better now?” Ruan Qing Dan’s eyes were red as she grabbed Mo Shi Hong’s hand. Mo Liu Gui beside her had wet eyes and was sobbing in a soft voice: “Dad, dad, are you ok, dad…”

“I’m okay now. Didn’t the doctors all say that I’m out of danger.” Although Mo Shi Hong was a little weak, he was in a good spirit. He rubbed Mo Liu Gui’s hair and felt a heartache, “Don’t cry, my dear daughter. It’ll make me sad.”

He then cast a displeased looke at Ruan Qing Dan and said: “Why did you tell our daughter about this?! You’re just making things worse!”

“I’m sorry Shi Hong. I was shocked and scared at the time.”

“You should be old enough to think straight even in a panic! There was no need to tell Xiao Gui.” Mo Shi Hong’s eyes were red with anger. He just wanted to admonish Ruan Qing Dan.

“That’s enough son. It’s good that you’re fine. Your wife should have also learned a lot this time.” The Mo patriarch was sitting in his chair with a sullen look. He knocked his cane twice, “You cannot be agitated or exhausted for now. The doctor says it’s no longer fatal but who can guarantee that you’re absolutely fine? Xiao Gui is your daughter and she cares so much about you. Even if we didn’t tell her, it’ll only make her feel guilty when she knows.”

“Dad.” Mo Shi Hong raised his eyebrows.

Mo grandfather waved: “We’re just here to check on you. In a moment, other than your wife, we all will leave so as not to disturb your rest. I just wanted to ask if you took cephalosporin or any antibiotics before drinking? If not how did you get poisoned?!” At this point, Mo grandfather was filled with anger.

“I also do not know. I wasn’t taking any medications the past few days.” Mo Shi Hong’s expression was also unsightly.

“If you weren’t taking any medications, how can there be a reaction. The doctors were saying something about a sulphuric reaction. How did you get intoxicated?”

“Father, someone must have tried to poison him!” Ruan Qing Dan wiped her tears and cried in a sharp voice: “Someone must’ve done something. Brother-in-law also drank the wine and he’s totally fine.”

“Little sister-in-law, what are you insinuating? Are you saying that your brother-in-law is the one who poisoned the wine?!” The eldest aunt was furious when she heard this. “How can you say such heartless words!”

“Sister-in-law that’s not what I meant. What I’m trying to say is I think this was done at home and not at the restaurant.”

“Little sister-in-law, you really know how to twist your words. I just don’t believe that you weren’t accusing…”

“Enough! Stop arguing!” Mo grandfather stomped his crutch. His face darkened with rage. “Now is not the time to argue amongst ourselves!”

The eldest aunt twitched her mouth and stopped talking.

Mo Shi Qiang, who was standing next to her, sighed. “I understand little sister-in-law’s mood and what you’re trying to say but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the wine. First of all, I’m the one who uncorked the bottle, and the wine glass was also clean. Third brother was the only one who had access to his glass, there was no one else who could’ve added anything into it. This point, third brother can testify!”

“That’s true.” Mo Shi Hong responded.

Mo Shi Qian continued: “As for whether or not it happened at home…. That I do not know. But I think we can investigate the servants. It’s unlikely that this has anything to do with someone in the family. Who in our family would want to hurt their own? It’s not possible.”

“Dad, It’s not that impossible. Isn’t there a white-eyed wolf in our family?” Mo Si Lang who was standing to the side suddenly spoke. He came straight from the stage right after knowing about his third uncle’s recovery. His make up was not removed and he did not stop to sign for his fans. After all, those fans combined could not even measure up to a strand of his sister’s hair.

“Yes, Mo Di!” Mo Wu Hang who was standing near the door said heatedly. “He must have done it! Unfortunately, we don’t have monitoring at home or we would have caught him!”

The more Mo Wu Hang said, the more convinced he became. It has to be it! Otherwise how could the medicine he gave Mo Di ended up in his third uncle’s cup? This was all Mo Di’s fault! He’s too insidious. Just when did he switch the coffee cups?!

“Where’s the little beast?” Mo Shi Hong grabbed his chest, suddenly realizing that he had not seen Mo Di for quite some time.

Mo Wu Hang: “Dunno. Haven’t seen him since yesterday. Did he flee after committing the crime?”

“Go find him! Ask around and bring that little beast back! If he really did it, then even if it brings shame to the family, I’m sending him to the police! I have to get rid of this evil seed from our family!” Mo grandfather was so angry that he pounded his crutch repeatedly.

“Grandpa, don’t be mad. I’ll go to school tomorrow and ask if anyone knows where he is.” Mo Liu Gui looked at her grandfather anxiously and poured him a glass of water. “Grandpa, have some water. Don’t be angry. This matter might have nothing to do with Xiao Di.”

“That’s my good granddaughter. Unlike that heartless white eyed wolf.” Mo grandfather took a sip of water and breathed out.

Mo Di did not know that after the unfateful ordeal, the Mo family had unanimously made him the culprit. But even if he knew, it wouldn’t be a surprise. After all, from a young age, he had often been ‘logically’ charged with committing crimes he did not even know happened.

A day later, Mo Shi Hong’s health was confirmed to be stabilized. The Mo family also got the news from Mo Di and Mo Liu Gui’s classmate, Zhu Wen Ze, that Mo Di was hospitalized after he was beaten up for ‘doing too much evil’.

And that he was staying in the same hospital Mo Shi Hong had stayed in.

Not only that, Zhu Wen Ze also ratted on how Mo Di managed to ‘turn shit into gold’ and reversed the truth, making those students charged with the crime of committing campus violence and had a serious demerit in their records! How terrible was that!!

Mo Wu Hang voluntarily took the task of bringing Mo Di back. He asked for Mo Di’s room number and prepared to leave. When he was at the door, he saw his eldest brother coming back from work.

Mo Yi Cheng was wearing a black shirt with suit pants. He was tall and handsome, worthy of being called the youngest and most promising general director of the capitol. But his face was obviously not good at the moment. Seeing Mo Wu Hang was about to leave, he asked: “You’re going to find Mo Di?”

“Yes big brother. What’s the matter?”

“I’ll come with you.” Mo Yi Cheng was intolerable as he explained: “Later, take him to apologize to those students and their parents first, then we’ll bring him to the police station. Those parents almost blocked the company’s door! That thing only knows how to cause trouble!”

“Right, we should do that. Even if they are just regular families, we Mo family still need to be reasonable. We can’t bully others.”

Mo Wu Hang spoke as he walked towards the parking lot: “Mo Di at least has to apologize in person and also write a written apology to see if he can get those students’ punishment revoked! Brother let me tell you, Zhu family’s young master, Zhu Wen Ze, was originally his good friend. Just because he spoke up for Xiao Gui, Mo Di hated him and blamed him for the bullying incident. Mo Di is just too poisonous!”

“All right, get in the car quick.”

Mo Di had stayed in the hospital for another day. Thinking left and right, he still felt that it was not too safe. After all, Zhu Wen Ze knew where he was, which meant that his good relatives will also know sooner or later.

However, with his current injury, it was not the right condition to leave the hospital. If he wanted to leave, he must at least get the consent from his parents or guardian. At the time of his admittance, the so-called ‘parent or guardian’ who signed for him was Mu Tian Heng.

Mo Di thought to this point, hooked his lips and rang the service bell.

In a good-boy and determined voice, he said to the nurse: “Sister, I want to leave the hospital.”

Chapter 8

After principal Huang left the hospital, he hurried back to the school. On the way back, he received numerous phone calls and they all happened to be from the parents of the students involved in the campus violence incident. It seemed like someone had secretly tipped them off.

Principal Huang frowned with discontent. He switched to his business mode and answered the phone. “Hello? Oh, it’s Mr. Zhong. No, I can’t. I quit drinking recently and don’t eat out much. Sorry I have to accompany my children. Is there a problem? You can tell me over the phone….”

“Aiya, Mr. Zhong’s son is involved in the campus violence incident? About this… Mr. Zhong, your son really went overboard. Not only did he gang up with other students to abuse one student, but he also gave him several life-threatening kicks. The boy’s skull was kicked till his brain’s blood vessel almost burst!”

“What? I’m sorry, Mr. Zhong, I cannot agree with you. Your son is still a child but the boy who was attacked is also a child. This is not something you can solve with a little money. Do not threaten me, and also don’t threaten that student. Stop piling up your mistakes. In fact, adding this to his record is also to give him a small lesson. It’s not that big a problem. For many regular universities, this will not affect admission…”

“…”

It was twenty minutes later that principal Huang ended the call. But just after he hung up the phone, another one came in.

This one afternoon, principal Huang had spent it on answering phone calls. Even when he was about to turn in at night, he still received a call from the Zhu family.

He broke his back trying to appease them for the time being. In actuality, there was also a fire in his heart. That group of students were so brutal, there was nothing wrong with him giving them a severe punishment! As a result, none of the parents realized this. Some of them even threatened him.

What a joke. Do not test his limits. Let’s see who’s worst off were he to release the video.

On the other hand, Mo Di, who had been listening to principal Huang’s calls, adjusted his plans.

He was not going to expose the video for now. This video had a more suitable use.

His reputation in school was very poor at the moment. Although not everyone hated him, there were very few who would stand on his side. Were the video to be exposed, there would still be a large majority that could topple the truth. Even if he bought a water army, he would still be caught in the scuffle and splashed with dirty water. The effect was not what he wanted.

If he used it for another purpose, at least it would give him more satisfaction.

For example….a tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye!

He remembered vividly that in his last life, at noon on the second day of his college entrance exam, he was assaulted by Zhong Dao Kang, Zhao Guo Chen, and the others just as he was about to leave the school gate. They broke his right hand and dislocated his left leg, causing him to miss out on the last English exam.

Even though he could score well on the other subjects, it was still impossible for him to be admitted into Jing Da, his dream university of six years. His body was in pain but he did not cry and yet when he received the results, his eyes could not help but turn red.

And the Mo family, on the last day of the exams, they took Mo Liu Gui on a family trip to celebrate. As for him? He did not even receive a phone call.

The next day, it was announced to the whole school that the transgressors in the campus violence would be severely punished and have a serious demerit in their records. This also included Zhu Wen Ze who had defamed Mo Di and swore at Lai De Si. The whole Xia Jia was in a frenzy.

Actually, principal Huang decided to add Zhu Wen Ze to the list because he was enraged by his father’s threats. If not he would have let him off with a little punishment. Another reason was that he also wanted to kiss up to Lai De Si and Mu Tian Heng, and hence, Zhu Wen Ze’s punishment was just as severe.

But Zhu Wen Ze was not wronged in any way. Although in the video, he did not participate in the attack, he did it in less conspicuous places. Especially in his last life, he liked to rough up and insult Mo Di in the men’s room.

“How dare Mo Di rectify me!”

Zhao Guo Chen heard the announcement and flared up on the spot. He kicked hard at the basketball and wanted to leave the school to deal with Mo Di immediately. It took several people to hold him back and calmed him down.

“Zhao Guo Chen, calm down! Look at Zhong Dao Kang and Liu Yang Feng in the next class, they’re not as impulsive as you.” A girl next to him advised.

“Both of them are going abroad. They already got the offer. How can it be the same as me. How can I enter a good university with this record.” How could he possibly show his face in front of his goddess after going to a third rate college. How can he even compete for his inheritance?!!

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. He gritted his teeth, “I must kill Mo Di.”

“Stop freaking out. Senior Zhu Wen Ze is not even as anxious as you. I heard he wanted to go to Jing Da.” Another girl chimed in.

Hearing this, Zhao Guo Chen bit his teeth and looked at the senior class classroom which was located halfway across the sports ground. He found that it was indeed quite quiet. There were whispers but no obvious commotion.

Unknown to them, Zhu Wen Ze’s heart could not help shivering. His cheeks were drained of color.

He actually got, actually got a serious demerit in his records?!!

How can he even apply for Jing Da!!!!

How can he get admitted to Jing Da?!!!!!

As though his eardrums were filled with blood, Zhu Wen Ze completely could not hear any external sound. The sunlight that shone on him turned cold. In order to be with his Liu Gui during their four years of university, he did not apply for a university abroad. He did not expect his path to be cut off by getting a serious demerit in his record.

How can he still apply for a first rate university in the future? How is this possible?!!!

Could it be that in this life he can only enter a third rate college and be trampled by his rivals!!!

When someone pulled Zhu Wen Ze back to his senses, his face was already dyed with rage and fear and his legs were rooted in place. Then he heard bursts of furious profanities coming from the students of the class opposite.

“F***!!!!”

He took a look and saw that the noise came from the boy named Zhong Dao Kang who was quite popular amongst the juniors. But he did not have the heart to be concerned for others. After forcing himself to calm down, he grabbed his cell phone and ran to the men’s toilet,

He has to quickly tell his father about this!

Meanwhile, Zhong Dao Kang who had received the notice was partly enraged yet partly relieved. After all, he had already been offered a place in a very good university in America which ranked in the top 100 worldwide. Unexpectedly, when he was about to console and gloat with Zhao Guo Chen, he received an email from the university.

He thought it was an email regarding his enrollment procedures, but it turned out to be a refusal of his admission!!

The university stated that they had received an unsettling report about him and, after verification, decided that he was not suitable to study there and hence had turned down his application!!!

How could this happen?!?!!

Zhong Dao Kang felt like he was hit by lightning. He immediately rushed out to call his parents and catapulted into Zhao Gui Chen and Liu Yang Feng heading towards him. The collision caused them to stumble and fall.

Advertisements

It was a nasty fall. One of them hit the basketball rack on the head and their skull gave out a loud bang. The other grabbed Zhong Dao Kang out of reflex and they both fell flat on their faces which were then covered in blood.

Mo Di turned off the screen that was monitoring the Xia Jia basketball court. A smile flashed through his eyes.

This was not a bad start, but it’s not enough.

Mo Di opened another page to check on Mu Tian Heng’s upcoming itinerary and found that his car was already at the intersection outside the hospital and would arrive momentarily.

Mo Di thought it over and his fingers flew across the keyboard, pulling up the surveillance of the hospital ward.

A few minutes later, two familiar voices entered the headphones.

“That piece of land is not bad. It’s very suitable to be the first base of our operation into the Hua Xia market!” Lai De Si laughed, “Don’t you think so, Mu?”

“I told you to stop watching wartime movies and do some market reports instead. You didn’t listen.”

Lai De Si choked and gave a dry laugh, “Well let’s go visit that little brother and see how he’s doing. Do you really plan to leave him alone after he gets better? I thought you will at least protect the kid till he’s discharged or even till the end of the college entrance exam.”

“How’s that possible.” Mu Tian Heng’s voice was undulated, “Let’s just make sure that he’s ok and that all he has to do is rest. We don’t have to keep bothering him. Actually this matter to this point should be over.”

“Tsk….Mu you’re so…” Lai De Si clicked his tongue, “Business oriented and unromantic.” (TN: the idiom used here is 公事公办,which means business is strictly business, personal feelings shouldn’t affect it, and 不解风情 means unromantic)

“Let me say this for the last time, if you don’t know how to use idioms then don’t use them.” Mu Tian Heng then raised his hand and rolled his sleeve.

Lai De Si thought that Mu Tian Heng was going to hit him and hurriedly jumped aside. After the jump, he felt a little ridiculous. He then straightened his neck and said: “I didn’t say anything wrong. Tell me one thing that’s not good about the kid. He’s sooooo good looking. Can’t you be nicer to him? Why do I feel you’re more considerate towards your other admirers and ex-lovers than this.”

“Hey I’m serious. I really think this kid is not bad. And he probably likes you. The last time we met, he even forgot to walk after seeing you. You helped him so much yesterday, the way he looks at you is different now. There’s so much adoration and appreciation in his eyes! Ah I’m jealous! Why doesn’t he look at me more?”

“Shut up.”

“Why do I have to shut up? I’m being serious. You’re such a protective person, you won’t let him be bullied. From what I can tell, he’s also very miserable at home. If so it’s better to be with an abnormal animal like you, at least you’re super protective….Ow! That hurts! How can you hit me so hard!!!”

“Anymore nonsense and I’ll let you know the joy of being hospitalized.” Mu Tian Heng pinched his palm and smiled: “You can even have designs for such a small child. If I don’t teach you a lesson, it’ll be a misuse of my hands.”

“F***!” Lai De Si hissed and immediately kept a three meter distance from Mu Tian Heng. He stubbornly said: “I’m not even one tenth of an animal like you!”

In front of the computer screen, Mo Di’s eyelids twitched several times. His hands under the quilt clenched and then loosened.

What the man named Lai De Si said, what did he mean by it?

Mu Tian Heng, could it be….

He liked men?!!!

So…in his last life, when Mo Shi Hong and Qin Yi Cheng, who were homophobes, mentioned Mu Tian Heng in their conversation, ‘mentaly perverted’ ….

…actually was referring to the possibility that Mu Tian Heng liked men?

A theory formed inside Mo Di’s head that he never would have guessed before. He could not help but feel slightly baffled. He settled down and closed his eyes, pretending to sleep.

After some time, when the door of the ward was pushed open, Mo Di slowly opened his eyes again.

RCFN Chapter 7

Chapter 7

“Me…?”

Mo Di was a little sluggish as he looked straight at Lai De Si and Mu Tian Heng. It seemed that this was the first time he was told a set of teachings and moral values that were completely different from what he had always been taught. It was hard for him to digress.

Mu Tian Heng saw the confusion and distress in Mo Di’s eyes and the crease between his brows deepened.

“This is clearly Mo Di’s fault!” Zhu Wen Ze stared at Mo Di and said: “Mo Di, didn’t you promise your family members that you will make a public apology to Liu Gui when you come back to school today? Don’t you think you should do it now?”

“We can understand if you can’t come back to school now. Just a recording will do.” Without waiting for anyone else to speak, Zhu Wen Ze took out his cellphone, turned on the camera, and then took out a bottle from his bag, “Also, you have to drink this when you apologize, or it won’t be sincere enough.”

Zhu Wen Ze had no idea why brother Wu Hang asked him to make Mo Di drink alcohol when he made his apology. Although drinking wine and apologizing is a long-established custom, to them, as students, it still felt a bit strange. However, since this was what brother Wu Hang had repeatedly asked him to do, he must do his best to help.

“What is this?” Mo Di hid his doubts and looked at Zhu Wen Ze in confusion.

“It’s alcohol.” Mu Tian Heng suddenly spoke. His low voice was magnetic and sent a slight echo through the room.

Mo Di looked at him: “Alcohol?!”

Advertisements

“His injuries are so bad, he can’t drink alcohol.” Lai De Si said to principal Huang and the discipline teacher, “Tsk…this kid is trying to hurt people.”

“Of course, of course he can’t drink it.” Principal Huang and teacher Liu made several bows. Finally principal Huang’s face was filled with anger and he wanted to chase Zhu Wen Ze out, “You, go back and attend your classes. Don’t come here and cause trouble!”

“Principal!” Zhu Wen Ze could not comprehend at all and his anger grew, “Principal, Teacher Liu, this is all Mo Di’s fault. He has to apologize. That’s what he promised others. How can…”

“Shut up! Get out!”

Principal Huang signaled the discipline teacher to get the loose cannon out of the room.

Teacher Liu’s insides were bitter. Zhu Wen Ze’s family belonged to the second or third class family in the capital, he really did not want to offend the Zhu family’s young master. But in comparison, he was more reluctant to offend principal Huang and the other two men. He grabbed Zhu Wen Ze’s arm and dragged him out.

“Zhu Wen Ze student, this matter…”

After the door closed, teacher Liu’s voice got smaller until it diminished. Principal Huang rubbed his hands nervously and gave a pleading smile: “I did not expect this matter to have so many misunderstandings. It’s all a misunderstanding. But it can be seen that everyone wasn’t intentional, they were just impulsive, and there was a lack of communication, lack of….”

“Principal Huang.” Mu Tian Heng was fixing his cuffs with long and powerful fingers: “To be honest, I think that Xia Jia International School is a very good school, otherwise, I would not propose to invest.”

“Yes, yes, we Xia Jia are indeed….”

“But, I cannot tolerate campus violence at all.” Mu Tian Heng politely interrupted Huang Li Cheng, “How is principal Huang going to solve this problem?”

“This, this ….this definitely will be reprimanded!”

“A reprimand? I’m afraid that is not enough.” Mu Tian Heng looked towards the door grimly, “I remember your discipline teacher said just now that if you make a serious mistake, it will be entered into your students’ permanent records. Is that right?”

Mo Di looked up slightly.

Huang Li Cheng’s heart gave a loud thunk but he still nodded. “Yes, that’s right.”

“Those students involved in the attack, and the boy Zhu Wen Ze from just now, record the incident this time into their files and I will invest 80 million yuan.” Mu Tian Heng said lightly.

“Eight, eighty million?!”

Huang Li Cheng was both surprised and happy. When they discussed before, the investment was at 50 million, now it was up by 30 million!!!

“This is only the first batch. I will continue to invest in the future.” Mu Tian Heng smiled and said: “So does Principal Huang think that my request is too much?”

“Not much, not much at all!”

“I also think so. The school spirit is closely related to the learning and growth of every student. If no severe punishment is issued after committing such a violent act, it will have a bad impact on the rest of the students. In fact, I think that my request is very reasonable. They are only getting the punishment they deserve. Principal Huang, what do you think?”

“Of course. Of course!” Principal Huang went over all the students involved in his head. Other than Zhu Wen Ze’s family which was second or third rate, the rest were small fries. Even if he provoked them, he would not receive much backlash. What’s more, he still had the surveillance video.

If they tried anything, he would release the footage.

In the recording, those students were fierce and ruthless. If it weren’t exposed, they could still buy their way into some universities. If it were to be exposed…they would be miserable. Not only would they receive public condemnation and no university would accept them, but their ruined reputation will further affect their family businesses.

Mo Di had been lying on the bed and listening to Mu Tian Heng dealing with this matter swiftly.

After sending both principal Huang and teacher Liu away, Mu Tian Heng went back to the ward to find that the child on the bed had already fallen asleep.

“This kid actually fell asleep. I wanted to have a chat with him.” Lai De Si took out a lighter from his pocket and spun it between his fingers.

“Let’s go out and let him have a rest.” Mu Tian Heng took a quick glance at Mo Di and walked out of the ward.

Lai De Si followed behind, chuckling: “Mu Tian Heng, you’re really skillful. I remember you said that the investment was between 50 to 80 million. Now that 80 million is spent, not only is the principal happy but you also captured the heart of a beautiful young man. Damn you’re good! Just before, the kid was looking at you like a savior!”

“Please shut up.”

Mu Tian Heng looked at his watch and his expression was light: “I just wanted to give it a little push. Besides, I really can’t tolerate campus bullying.”

“I know I know.” I knew that you were bullied in junior high because you were a lot smaller than the local children.

Lai De Si did not dare to say the latter sentence. He only looked at the 1.87 meter tall Mu Tian Heng with resentment. How did this person grow? Once they reached high school, his height spurted through the roof! Moreover, even though he was bullied, it wasn’t long before he got his payback ok! Those kids were even crying for their mommies!

Lai De Si sighed. Some people were destined to be abnormal, unlike ordinary folks like him.

“Alright, let’s put this matter aside.” Mu Tian Heng looked in the direction of the sleeping boy, then said to Lai De Si: “Let’s go, we have to check on the project in the eastern suburb.”

After Zhu Wen Ze was kicked out, he was so angry he could vomit blood but he did not forget to report to Mo Wu Hang.

As a result, Mo Wu Hang immediately dropped the cup in his hand with a clang and the beautifully crafted glass broke into pieces.

“Wu Hang, what’s wrong?” A man with devilish make up came over with a smile. “Although it’s a bit hot, you can’t be impatient. There are still a few more photos to be taken.”

“I’m fine. I want to take a rest.”

Mo Wu Hang put on a cigarette and took a sip.

When the man saw that Mo Wu Hang did not want to be bothered with him, he was not annoyed and left together with everyone else.

Mo Wu Hang turned on his phone and several messages from an anonymous number popped up.

“It’s true but don’t try it casually!”

“It’s not guaranteed to cause death, but there is a possibility.”

“A few days ago, our hospital also had a patient who needed emergency treatment after accidentally taking a cephalosporin capsule together with wine. When he arrived it was almost too late!”

“Let me show you my class notes: When cephalosporin and alcohol are mixed together in the human body, it is easy to produce a disulfiram-like reaction, for example, high blood pressure, increased heart rate, dyspnea, and in serious cases could be life-threatening. Therefore, when using cephalosporins, do not drink alcohol. It’s best to stop drinking for a week to prevent accidents.”

“Don’t try this just to skip class!”

“Do not consume alcohol after taking cephalosporins!”

“Don’t ever do that!”

“I’m going to cry. Why the hell am I telling you this?”

“I’m going to blacklist you. I’m not giving you any more medical tips.”

“…”

Mo Wu Hang frowned and replied: “It’s ok, stop worrying. I wasn’t successful and won’t do it again in the future. Ok?”

The reply came in a split second later:

“Not successful?!! That’s meant you actually tried it?!!!!”

Just as Mo Wu Hang wanted to send a reply, a phone call came in.

“Hello?”

“Something’s happened! Fifth brother something’s happened!” Mo Liu Gui’s cry was at the other end.

“What’s the matter?! Xiao Gui, don’t panic, what happened?”

“My dad… daddy he suddenly fainted while drinking. He had a seizure and was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment! I’m really scared, fifth brother….I’m scared….” Mo Liu Gui was stuttering between words: “I just received a call from mom and she said his life could be in danger. What to do? Fifth brother what to do?”

Mo Wu Hang’s heart sank as he realized something but he hung on to the speculation that it was untraceable and said: “Don’t worry Xiao Gui. Uncle will be fine. Where are you now, I’ll come to pick you up.”

When Mo Shi Hong was discussing with a business owner about an important contract, he suddenly threw up. His face was flushed and he had difficulty breathing. He went into shock and fell on his own vomit. He was then sent to the hospital for treatment.

Coincidentally, he was sent to the same hospital as Mo Di.

But Mo Di did not know about this. He, who should have been asleep, slowly opened his eyes.

After confirming that Mu Tian Heng and his foreigner companion had left, he propped up to look for his large backpack but the injury to his neck and head made him ‘hiss’ in pain and his movement lagged.

It seemed he let things go too far this time. If possible this strategy should not be used again. The beating he suffered this time was not even a drop in the bucket compared to what he received in his last life. This pain was really nothing to him who had experienced all kinds of tortures. However, this kind of ordeal, he did not want to experience again.

Mo Di saw that his backpack was placed on the bedside table. Gritting his teeth, he stretched for the shoulder strap and lifted it to the bed.

He quickly pulled out his computer and turned off the black screens with the codes flashing across one by one until only a blue window remained.

At the same time, the two hundred or so monitoring screens in Xia Jia International School suddenly returned to normal. Several security guards and teachers in the surveillance room looked at each other, totally confused.

Next, Mo Di copied a video footage and saved it into his secret folder before closing the program. He then opened the largest social network in Hua Xia: Hua Xia exchange network.

Mo Di browsed the hot search page for a while. Afterwards, he minimized the window and opened a strange page. He typed in a string of codes, then took out an earphone from his bag and put it on.

A few expected and unexpected conversations passed through the headset and entered his ears.

Chapter 6

Mo Di could feel that he was wrapped in a broad and strong embrace. The heat emitted from the warm chest enclosed him. This feeling was unfamiliar and strange which made him want to struggle out of.

But considering his plan, he had to endure.

Principal Huang and the disciplinary teacher followed all the way to the hospital. After seeing that Mo Di had gone through the various health checks and gotten the results which was a dislocated right leg, multiple bruises, and a mild concussion that needed to be supervised by doctors, they were relieved.

Fortunately there were no complications.

Principal Huang wanted to solve this problem as soon as possible because he did not want the huge investment that their school was about to receive to disappear. He looked at Mo Di lying on the hospital bed and whose current appearance was so far removed from his original pretty boy looks. “Little student, the fighting this time is very bad. We need to know the situation. What were you fighting about?”

He did not believe this was a one-sided bullying, it takes two to make a conflict. This boy, he recognized him as the little master of the Mo family. The rumors about him were not very good, there must be something wrong with his personality. If he managed to dig up the root of this matter, he might be able to regain some points with Director Mu and make an impression. Besides, if both sides were at fault then it would not be considered campus violence but simply a ‘conflict’.

Moreover, the atmosphere of their Xia Jia International school had always been excellent, there had never been another campus violence before this. Therefore, this Mo Di must have done something really bad, otherwise, how could he be the only being bullied and not anyone else.

Mo Di opened his swollen eyes and looked at principal Huang and the discipline teacher Liu, then at Mu Tian Heng and a brown-haired foreigner, all of whom were standing beside his bed. He then shrank in fear and did not speak.

Upon seeing Mo Di’s reaction, principal Huang felt that his conjecture was right and he pressed on with confidence.

“This little student, if you don’t speak up, how can we teachers investigate this matter? Why did those students beat you? You have to tell us or we’ll have to question those students first.”

“I….because….because I was wrong.” Mo Di was just as principal Huang thought and the words he said were also music to his ears.

Sure enough, Mo Di only has himself to blame for being beaten up!

Seeing that Mo Di could not speak anymore due to fear and guilt, principal Huang did not continue to ask him. He turned to the frowning Mu Tian Heng: “Director Mu, as you can see, this was really not campus violence. The atmosphere of our school has always been good, this is just a mere conflict between students. And this student admitted he was the one at fault. The other students were provoked and in their impulse, they just used the wrong method to solve things…. Of course, we do not allow our students to use such violent methods to retaliate!”

Principal Huang said with a pleasing smile: “After all, regardless of how justified or angry they were, they can’t take such drastic measures to solve the problem. We will not condone this type of behavior. On Monday we will hold a meeting…”

“Principal Huang, I think it’s a little early to talk about other things.” Mu Tian Heng raised his palm lightly to cut off Principal Huang’s words. He looked at Mo Di and asked: “What wrong did you do?”

That was not a normal beating. In addition to splashing him with the dirty water, the punching and kicking, he was also grabbed by the hair and hit against the flower bed and then kicked in the face. How was this just a simple conflict between students?

Principal Huang had been refuted by Mu Tian Heng repeatedly. His face could not help but turn ugly.

“Be…because…” Mo Di grabbed the blanket with both hands and widened his eyes, seemingly unable to continue.

Seeing this, the discipline teacher at the side interjected in a stern voice: “Mo Di, what did you do that made the others so dissatisfied with you? It’s ok for you to say it now, we won’t do anything to you, we just want to find out the truth behind this matter. But if we find out about your mistakes from the mouth of the other students, then it’ll be in your permanent records.”

Once it’s in the records, don’t even think about entering a good university, whether it’s at home or abroad. Initially, he was worried that those students who attacked Mo Di would have this incident of campus violence entered into their records. After all, among them were aristocratic young masters whose families had given him a lot of benefits over the years to look after their children. He could not let such a serious crime be entered into their files.

Fortunately, Mo Di was a rotten egg. If threatened with this record, he probably would not pursue it. After all, he was not exactly innocent, this matter should be easy to solve.

Indeed, Mo Di was scared by the threat. The body under the blanket was obviously frozen and in a trembling voice, he said: “I’ll say! it’s… it’s because I made my sister faint.”

“What?!”

Teacher Liu entirely did not expect this to be the reason. Mo Di’s sister, Mo Liu Gui, was the only pearl in the eyes of all four generations of the Mo family. She was also the most attractive and popular girl amongst the upper-class community. She was beautiful and had a very good personality. This Mo Di actually caused his sister to faint?!

“What did you do?!!”

“I… I drank a beverage my sister gave me and had an allergic reaction and had to be sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. Before entering the ambulance I asked my sister if she didn’t know that I was allergic to cocoa. Then my sister was sad and she fainted from crying.” Mo Di lowered his head and dared not look up: “Teacher, I know I’m wrong. Really, I really know that I was wrong. I shouldn’t have caused my sister to faint and even hospitalized.”

“My father, mother, and brothers, even my classmates are very angry. Everyone knows that my sister really cares about me, I also know that. I was very wrong. But I really wasn’t trying to smear my sister’s name by purposely drinking the cocoa as everyone said. I really didn’t! But nobody believes me, so…”

“You’re full of bullshit!”

A loud voice suddenly intruded and the door was flung open, making a loud ‘bang!’ as it hit the wall.

“Hello principal, teacher Liu.” Nobody knew when Zhu Wen Ze arrived but he came in and looked at Mo Di with scorn and anger. “It’s a good thing I came here after school or you would’ve turned the truth upside down.”

“Principal, teacher Liu, I am very clear about what happened. It’s better to listen to a bystander like me.” Zhu Wen Ze turned to face principal Huang and the disciplinary teacher, entirely ignoring the other two men whom he did not know and for some reason did not have a good impression of.

“I’m Mo Di’s good friend, logically I should be partial to him but I will not hurt my conscience and let him flip the truth like this. Mo Di’s sister…Liu, Mo Liu Gui has always been very very kind, very very caring towards him. But Mo Di would always slander Mo Liu Gui. This time after Liu Gui gave him a drink out of kindness, just because his allergic reaction got a bit serious, he said some strange stuff to smear her reputation and let everyone misunderstand her. Moreover, cocoa can be detected by smell but he drank it on purpose and pretended as if he’s almost dying. He will do anything to discredit Liu Gui and yet she still treated him kindly. That’s why this time everyone’s anger was at their limit, so we just decided to give him a little warning. I hope the teachers can…”

“Wait.” Mu Tian Heng abruptly interrupted Zhu Wen Ze. He looked at Mo Di who still did not dare to raise his head and asked in a steady voice, “You said that that was just a little warning?”

Zhu Wen Ze did not know who this strange man was but he felt pressured by his cold eyes. And the sudden burst of anger in his voice caused him to be dumbfounded for a moment.

Lai De Si who was fidgeting with an unlighted cigarette finally shipped in: “That is, if you say that him being punched, kicked, splashed with dirty water, getting his head smashed and face kicked etcetera ….was just a little warning, then I really doubt the truth in your words. What you said about his allergic reaction being just a bit serious, then it must’ve been very fatal otherwise why would he need emergency treatment.”

Lai De Si suddenly gave out a chuckle: “To be honest, I’m very skeptical about that something Gui girl, could it be that she was ….guilty, and so because of that, she got agitated by a very general question. Which actually meant that she never truly cared, or else she would’ve known that the food she gave to her family member could kill….”

“Shut up! What nonsense are you talking about?!” Zhu Wen Ze heard this and could not help but get furious. He spoke without filter: “What the f*** are you to insult Liu Gui?!!”

“Zhu Wen Ze! You can’t talk like that!” Principal Huang frantically reprimanded him. Then when he saw Mu Tian Heng who had been silent for a while knitted his eyebrows, he could feel the cold sweat appearing on his back.

“It’s no problem. I’m very forgiving.”

Lai De Si waved casually: “Where was I? Oh right be killed. It was not just an ordinary allergy, it’s the type that could kill. The person who really cared about this kid wouldn’t know about this? That’s just funny. The way I see it, this very common sentence had unintentionally pointed out a certain truth. How could it be considered a slander or a malicious frame-up? Over this, you even went so far as to attack and bully him. You people are really sick. And not only sick….” Lai De Si sneered at Zhu Wen Ze: “you even mutated the truth and hurled insults and violence at this child, how heartless.”

“You….!” Zhu Wen Ze glared at Lai De Si with killing intent, “You’re the one mutating the truth! You’re the heartless one!”

“Yo kiddo, wanna have a round….”

“Lai De Si.” Mu Tian Heng suddenly spoke and gave Lai De Si a glance. Lai De Si twitched his mouth and stopped talking.

“Principal Huang.” Mu Tian Heng looked at the two men standing next to him. His cold eyes narrowed: “This matter, you should have fully understood by now, how are you going to deal with it?”

“This…”

Smoke was rising in Principal Huang’s heart. His back was sweating bullets as he unconsciously looked at Mo Di who had been a wallpaper this whole time, “Mo Di, how do you want to solve this?!”

RCFN Chapter 5

Chapter 5

After Mo Wu Hang finished pouring the coffee, he could not help snickering at the thought of what was going to happen this evening. To avoid any suspicions, he filled the remaining cups with coffee.

“Younger brother?” Mo Si Lang came down in his robe. Surprised to see Mo Wu Hang in the dining room, he let out a smile: “What’s this, is the sun rising in the west today? You actually got up this early?”

“Fourth brother.” Mo Wu Hang’s face was a little uneasy. Although his actions were justified, he still did not want anyone to know that he had tampered with the coffee.

“Brother, I have an activity at school this morning. I’m going back to do my hair, talk to you later.”

Mo Si Lang looked at Mo Wu Hang’s departure and had some perceptions. He turned and went back upstairs.

Sister Liu was busying herself in the kitchen. Seeing that breakfast was almost done and it was about time the family members were gathering, she gave out instructions to serve the soup and beverage first.

As a result, seeing that the coffee was already served, she got angry and raised her voice: “Huang Ya! Huang Ya! Where’s Huang Ya?!”

“Sister Liu, I’m here. What’s the matter?” Huang Ya hurriedly ran out of the kitchen with a piece of dishcloth.

“Who let you pour the coffee? This coffee is almost cold!” Sister Liu picked up the coffee pot on the table: “You’re just here a few days and want to make your own decisions? From here on you will only listen to my instructions, got it?!”

“So… sorry Sister Liu! I’m not the one who poured it. The fifth young master wanted some coffee, he even brought out the new set of cups each designated to the masters and misses. He asked me to leave behind the coffee pot, so I…”

“So you what? Shut up! The coffee is almost cold and it’s too late to grind a new batch. Let’s bring the coffee back to the kitchen.”

Sister Liu gave Huang Ya a quick stare before ignoring her. She then cleaned up the cup that Mo Wu Hang had probably used. As for the untouched coffee, they brought it back to the kitchen and poured into another pot to reheat.

When Mo Di came downstairs, everyone,  except Mo Er Qian and Mo San Zhi who were abroad and Mo Wu Hang who was always late, was already at the dining room.

“Look at you! Why are you still standing there?!”

One look at the son he had hated since birth, Mo Shi Hong could not help but be irritated.

“Calm down Shi Hong, don’t be angry. Your voice almost scared our daughter.” Ruan Qing Dan gave him a reprimanding look. She then poured soup for Mo Liu Gui. “Good daughter, try this.”

“Thank you mom.” Mo Liu Gui’s eyes slightly bent as she picked a piece of chicken breast for Ruan Qing Dan and salted fish for Mo Shi Hong. “Dad, let’s eat. Don’t talk about Xiao Di anymore.”

“It’s still my baby daughter who’s the best. Unlike some ingrate that I raised.”

“Alright.” Mo grandfather suddenly coughed and stared at Mo Di.: “When you go back to school today, the most important thing is to apologize to Xiao Gui. Got it?”

“I know.” Mo Di lowered his head slightly.

“Uhm. Don’t even think of coming up with any other tricks. If you don’t apologize or refuse to do a proper job, then don’t come back here anymore. We Mo family cannot afford to raise a heartless white eyed wolf.”

Mo Di sat in his place with his head down. The coffee at the side was fragrant and inviting.

Mo Wu Hang swiftly went downstairs to the dining room. His hair was carefully combed and gelled. He smiled brightly: “I’m late again. Everyone has eaten?”

“Come here quick.” Second aunt looked at her tall and handsome son proudly. Seeing some dark shades below his eyes, she said with concern: “Xiao Hang, have you been too tired lately? Your complexion is not too good.”

“No mom, I’m fine.”

“Fifth brother, you have dark circles!” Mo Liu Gui laughed coquettishly, “like a panda.”

“Even Xiao Gui is making fun of me. I can’t show my face anymore!” Mo Wu Hang wailed.

“Ai ya, don’t be sad. I have a special imported eye cream for dark circles. I’ll give you some later. It’ll be sure to work.”

“Oh how kind of you. Thank you Xiao Gui. Indeed my beloved sister! I might not even bear to use it.”

“Haha…” everyone at the table laughed.

Mo Di experienced the harmonious and warm atmosphere of the Mo family. His lips slightly moved, unknowingly he also smiled.

After breakfast, there was a car allocated to take the Mo family’s grandchildren to school. Naturally, Mo Di could not be in the same car as Mo Liu Gui.

When the driver saw that Mo Di not only had his school bag but also a large backpack, he frowned: “Little master, why are you bringing so many things?”

“These are for apologizing.” said Mo Di in a soft voice.

The driver stopped talking and stepped on the accelerator. Regarding this young master, he was not particularly fond of. Especially after he knew that he was unkind to the lovely young miss, his disdain multiplied.

But now that the young man was willing to apologize and even made a lot of preparations, it seemed he was not a lost cause. At least he had not turned entirely heartless and rotten.

The news that Mo Di was returning to school Mo Wu Hang had long passed it on to Zhu Wen Ze. At this time, all the students in Mo Di’s class also learned of the news.

“He actually has the face to come back to school?”

A boy with a crew cut head kicked at an already dilapidated desk dirtied with chewing gum, graphiti, and other disgusting stuff. He scolded loudly: “How shameless!”

“Let me add something else to the desk of that shameless thing.” The boy next to him chuckled and spit on the dirty desk.

“Ah!”

A girl close by quickly stepped back. She squinted her eyebrows: “Du Zhi, be careful, you almost spit on me.”

“Mei Ran, you move to the side a bit.”  A girl with a ponytail beside Wang Mei Ran rolled her eyes at Du Zhi. Liu Gui is coming back in a bit. She’s so kind and cares about that Mo Di. She’s not going to be happy to see what you’ve done.”

“It’s ok. Mo Di’s desk is at the back. We just block and she won’t be able to see it. And we have a way to silence Mo Di. You girls rest assured, don’t worry about it.”

“That’s right. This is nothing.” Zhu Wen Ze said as he walked towards the student locker at the back. He found Mo Di’s locker, pulled down the broken lock and threw a black garbage bag in. Inside the bag was a headless cat.

When Zhu Wen Ze was finished with his petty moves, Mo Di finally stepped into the school gate.

In an instance, Mo Di could feel razor sharp gazes pointed blindingly at him from all directions. A few of them were pure curiosity while most of them are full of disgust, malice, and anger.

Mo Di was silent. He kept his eyes to himself, carried his schoolbag, and walked along the pathway. He placed one hand in his pocket as if holding on to his cellphone.

Some of the passers by who saw Mo Di went to spread the news and some directly confronted him.

“Well, isn’t this the shameless and scheming Mo Di. You came back to school.” A tall and muscular boy came forward and slammed his arm into Mo Di and caused him to stagger back three steps.

A few people laughed and said: “Zhao Guo Chen, you didn’t say it right. Mo Di is the cheapest most white eyed wolf ok?!!”

“There’s more! There’s still the best drama queen and the most despicable!” A boy who was doing some cleaning swung a mop and the dirty water splashed all over Mo Di. “Oh no, I’m sorry. Are you also allergic to dirty water, will you die?”

Laughter was then spread across the school ground.

Mo Di stood in the same place. He wiped the dirty water and mud spots on his face. The dirty water on his hair dripped down to his face.

He lifted his eyelids and glanced at the gloating crowd around him.

“What? What are you looking at?”

It was the first time Zhao Guo Chen saw that the person in front of him still dared to give out a cold stare. His subconscious jolted and his anger rose. He aimed a heavy punch at Mo Di’s shoulder. “What?! You want to fight?”

Mo Di stumbled as he received the blow and his heavy backpack fell to the side. Before he could stable himself, a kick to his thigh from behind dropped him to the ground. His forehead collided with the flower bed and for a moment it hurt as if a hammer had smashed his head!

“Damn you. How dare you insult my goddess?! Who do you think you are?!”

The one who kicked Mo Di from behind did not give him a chance to breathe as he continued kicking. “Why do you even come back? You garbage why won’t you die?”

“Ah…” Mo Di cried. He lifted his hand and felt a warm and sticky liquid oozing from his forehead.

“Zhong Dao Kang?” Zhao Guo Chen looked at the boy who kicked Mo Di with his foot and said: “Why are you attacking him here? It’s not good if our goddess were to see this!!”

“Our goddess is already back in the classroom ok. Not everyone is so ill informed like you.” Zhong Dao Kang squatted down, grabbed at Mo Di’s hair and yanked him brutally. He looked at Mo Di’s dirty and bloodied face and said: “Do you admit your mistake?”

“My…” Mo Di gasped in pain. His pale skin almost turned transparent. “My sister will not forgive you…”

“What did you say?!” Zhong Dao Kang did not expect Mo Di to threaten him. In a fit, he grabbed Mo Di’s hair and smashed his head on the flower bed.

“I dare you to say it again! How dare you report me to Lui Gui. F***ing shameless!!!”

“Ah!!!” Mo Di’s head was slammed on the flower bed and his sight suddenly faded to black. His skull was like tofu hitting the pavement causing him to shiver with pain. He clenched his fist and endured the urge to break every single one of their limbs. He forced his eyes to open and stared at Zhong Dao Kang, “You…you’re breaking the law.”

“Pei! I’m breaking the law? I’m acting on behalf of justice!”

Zhong Dao Kang aimed at Mo Di’s head and gave another kick.

“That’s enough. Don’t beat him to death.” At this time several people came over. One of them even pretended to accidentally give Mo Di a kick. Several girls neered at Mo Di: “So disgusting and terrible. I heard he even scolded senior Zhu Wen Ze.”

But Zhong Dao Kang did not like Zhu Wen Ze because he was one of his stronger love rivals. He responded angrily: “but the goddess is just too kind. She would probably won’t even blame him even after being harmed.”

“That’s right.” A boy with a basketball in his hand approached. “Say, why didn’t he just die of the allergy?” Having said that, he smiled and wanted to follow Zhong Dao Kang’s action and gave Mo Di a kick.

All of a sudden, an angry voice stopped him in his tracks.

“What are you doing?! What are those people in the east garden doing?”

“Shit! Someone is coming. Run!”

Zhao Dao Kang and the gang were startled and they ran off immediately. The dozen or so others who were watching also scattered in an instant.

Mo Di’s released his clenched hands. He laid on the ground breathing heavily as he just managed to overcome a deadly ordeal.

He tried hard to move his eyelids which were covered with blood and dirt. A cold smile and a fierce look in his eyes flashed for a second on his face.

He had just won a gamble.

Two security guards hung up their phone, hurried over and helped Mo Di to stand.

“Student, are you ok? Do you need to go to the hospital?”

“Principal Huang. I don’t think this kind of thing needs to be asked at all, does it?” In the school surveillance room, a tall and handsome man looked at a middle-aged man with a cold expression.

“Yes…yes. They should’ve just called an ambulance directly.” The middle-aged man answered awkwardly. In his heart he was annoyed that those stupid young students actually caused trouble at such a time. He was also annoyed that the so-called hi-tech monitoring system actually broke down and all the screens were focused on that flower bed!! He could not even try to hide it!!

“Director Mu, this is really an accident. This kind of behavior absolutely did not occur before in our school. We Xia Jia’s school spirit is very high. Almost all our graduates are now elites and excel in all walks of life. There must be a reason for the incident today, we will…”

“Principal Huang, I think it’s better to check up on the boy first. As for the cause of the school violence, I don’t particularly want to know at this moment.”

Mu Tian Heng coldly interrupted the chattering principal Huang as he turned and walked out.Lai De Si quickly followed behind.

Principal Huang frantically wiped his sweat. He wanted to follow but almost dared not. He thought about how Mu Tian Heng, who was always putting on a smile and spoke in a gentle voice, but when provoked would emit such a terrifying aura that made others dare not approach!

He wiped his sweaty hands. Determined to secure this investment, he trotted after Mu Tian Heng.

Mo Di endured with the security guards for a few minutes, only when his eyes almost could not stay open that he saw the tall man coming towards him in big steps. The deepest string in his heart moved slightly.

“Little student, how are you feeling?” Mu Tian Heng walked up to Mo Di and squatted down.

“I…” Mo Di’s eyes were filled with Mu Tian Heng. His voice was hoarse and dry: “My head hurts..”

“Can you stand up?”

Mu Tian Heng looked at the young man before his eyes and frowned. He was covered in dirt and his face was beaten black and blue. He had already recognized that the boy was the little fellow he had caught a glimpse of at Chun Jing road. The youth who was beautiful like an ink painting at the time was bullied and beaten to such a state, this simply made him feel uncomfortable.

When Mo Di heard his question, he tried to stand up. As a result, his head buzzed with pain and his body sunk back.

“That’s it. I’ll take you to the car.” When Mu Tian Heng saw this, he reached forward and carried Mo Di in his arms. He looked at principal Huang who was coming up from behind: “First, let’s send this child to the hospital.”

RCFN Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Mo Di lowered his head. His fists twitched a little and then loosened. In the end he went inside without waiting for the guards to act.

When he was at the door, he lifted his head, showing eyes full of fear and begged: “Dad, can… can you not tie me up?”

Once Mo Liu Gui heard this, she immediately said: “Dad, why do you want to tie Xiao Di up? Don’t tie Xiao Di, he just came back from the hospital!”

“Ai, my silly daughter. Why are you…”

Mo Shi Hong looked at Mo Liu Gui lovingly and could not bear to say it anymore. He sighed and the anger towards Mo Di intensified. He stared at Mo Di with daggers in his eyes, “You’re still standing there! Look at your sister. Even though she was hurt by you, she still has you in her heart. Tell me where is your conscience!!!”

Mo Di kept silent and only looked at Mo Shi Hong with his red eyes. At this time Mo Wu Hang who had just recovered from the tumble was coming out of the bathroom. He saw Mo Di and lost his temper.

He walked directly towards Mo Di and took a punch to his face.

Mo Di wanted to dodge but Mo Si Lang came up and stood behind him with a sneer. He could not dodge in time and was hit by an iron fist. The punch caused his vision to fade dark and a strong smell of rust accompanied by a sharp pain spreaded in his nose and lips.

Mo Di exhaled in pain as he bent his waist. Wiping his mouth caused his palm to be bloodied.

“Fifth brother what are you doing?!” Mo Liu Gui was dazed when she saw this scene: “fifth brother why are you hitting Xiao Di?”

“Xiao Gui, he deserves it!!” feeling that one punch was not enough, Mo Wu Hang wanted to have another go at Mo Di.

“Xiao Hang, come back here.” Mo grandfather who was sitting in the master’s chair gave out a cough and finally spoke.

“Granpa!”

Mo Wu Hang was dissatisfied. He gave Mo Di a stabbing look. Mo Di shivered and kept his head down. The lower half of his face was stained with blood.

Mo grandfather looked at Mo Di discontentedly as if he could not see the blood on his face. He cleared his throat and said with a calm face, “It can be said that most of us are present today. I’d like to talk about what had happened these past few days.”

“Trying to frame a member of their own family, such a thing, I cannot believe that it actually happened to this family.” Mo grandfather raised his eyelids and looked at Mo Di coldly. “Xiao Di, what you did to your sister, don’t you feel that your conscience is hurting?!!”

Mo Di stood up: “I didn’t, Grandpa! I did not…”

“You don’t have to find excuses. Fact speaks louder than words. Everyone is not blind. Clean up that little trick of yours.” Mo Grandfather refused to listen and interrupted Mo Di’s words. His voice was angry: “The Mo family will not and cannot tolerate such behaviors. Even if Xiao Gui is kind and tolerant, we as the elderly cannot let this matter slide.”

“Grandpa is right!”

Mo Si Lang’s peach blossom eyes narrowed slightly and he cast a poisonous look at Mo Di. “Mo Di wanted to take advantage of Xiao Gui’s kindness and let people think that Xiao Gui does not care about him when actually we treat him pretty well. It’s like raising a white eyed wolf! The lesson cannot be taken lightly. Grandpa, let’s just kick him out of the Mo family!”

Mo Di’s heart moved and he lowered his head further. His shoulders trembled slightly. Mo Si Lang felt a sense of comfort when he saw Mo Di’s frightened body.

“Fourth brother!” Mo Liu Gui said in a hurry: “No, absolutely not. You can’t let Xiao Di leave our family!”

“Sister why are you still siding with him!” Mo Wu Hang’s eyes could shoot fire but it’s aimed at Mo Di. “How can you protect him when he treats you like this. Silly girl!”

“Fifth brother, Xiao Di is my little brother, shouldn’t I be good to him?”

There was a sudden silence in the hall for a few seconds.

Mo Shi Hong and the rest were deeply distressed and worried about Mo Liu Gui. The little princess who they watched grow up was so pure and kind. If they don’t protect her well, she would definitely be taken advantage of in the future!

However, seeing Mo Liu Gui’s insistence, Mo grandfather could not bear to ignore his baby granddaughter’s wishes. Finally, he knocked the ground with his cane, looked at Mo Di and said: “Alright. Since Xiao Gui does not want to pursue this matter then we’ll spare you this time. We’ll forgo the punishment but an apology must be made! Tomorrow when you go back to school, you have to make a public apology to Xiao Gui. Got it?”

Mo Di raised his head and agreed.

“Grandpa, what if he doesn’t apologize? We have to get someone to supervise. I remember in Xiao Gui’s class there’s a boy named Zhu Wen Ze. He’s not bad. I’ll give him a call and let him help us overlook this matter.” said Mo Wu Hang.

“Good.” Mo grandfather agreed.

It took half an hour for the Mo family’s charade to end. Mo Di with his bloodied face returned to his room.

Mo Di shut the door and turned the lock.

In the next moment, the panic and fear on his face and the shivers of his shoulders disappeared completely as if they were never there. In their place was an unshakable indifference and a dignified posture.

Mo Di went to wash his face. Looking at himself in the mirror, he smiled coldly.

So it’s back to square one.

…back to being forced to apologize.

But that’s alright. Of course, this apology he definitely will not carry out. And today’s account, he will remember without leniency.

Mo Di grabbed a towel and wiped the water on his brows. He quickly got back to his bedroom desk and took out his computer.

Because of the crash earlier, his computer was a little laggy. Mo Di opened a program and his white fingers were flying all over the keyboard, inputting a series of complex codes.

Soon the screen suddenly changed into a gray background.

In his last life, after running away from home, he tolled for a few years before he could painstakingly open his own video game company which launched the world’s first 4D online game.

As the founder, it was not possible for him not to have any skills. Programming and coding to him was like a familiar companion. He was also equipped with some hacking abilities.

It’s just…

When he thought about the ending of the game company that he had poured his heart and blood into, he could not control the coldness in his eyes. This game company which became a legacy after his death, was taken over by the Mo family. And because it was a pioneer in it’s gaming system, it became the leading 4D gaming company in the Hua Xia market and eventually the world. Even when other competitors tried to imitate their system, they would always fall behind. In less than two years, his company had led the Mo family to become the second richest family in Hua Xia. Then the company was transferred to Mo Liu Gui who was praised for being not just a movie queen but also a successful entrepreneur.

And him, he was described as a vicious man who finally got what he deserved. He was not only locked up in a mental hospital but also died violently. His whole life’s hard work had become the main character’s stepping stone and even gave the Mo family a big push in their status and became world renowned.

Mo Di’s typing became a little louder.

After adding another string of codes, he opened another program and entered the license plate number.

The information on the screen was refreshed.

Mo Di took a quick look and finally got the happiest news he had received since his rebirth.

The owner of this car was really Mu Tian Heng!

Moreover, the car frequently appeared near a large construction site in the eastern suburb of the capital. He remembered that that piece of land belonged to the Xiao family and they were using it to prepare for a big project. Did Mu Tian Heng catch wind of certain news and after dominating the foreign social network market, decided to develop his side business here?

However, in his last life, Mu Tian Heng’s secondary industry was not established yet when he lost his leg due to an accident.

Mo Di didn’t sleep until it was three in the morning. But when he woke up, the sky was still dark.

He looked at his phone and it was only five.

Having spent half a year at the mental hospital, Mo Di’s sleep routine was terrible. Everyday he would hear the shrills, scream, and crazy laughter of the patients. Plus the tortures that the Mo family member ordered the doctors to inflict on him, getting two hours of sleep was actually a norm.

But he didn’t expect that even after his rebirth, the restlessness in his subconscious still prevented him from having a good sleep.

Mo Di got up, turned on the light and went to wash up.

At this time, Mo Wu Hang, who never got up this early, appeared in the Mo family’s kitchen.

“Fifth young master, why are you here?”

Sister Liu was shocked when she saw Mo Wu Hang appeared in the kitchen.

“It’s nothing. I can’t sleep so I came to see if there’s anything good in the kitchen.” Mo Wu Hang looked at several servants washing and cutting in the kitchen and turned to sister Liu: “Sister Liu, what’s for breakfast this morning?”

“Fifth young master, today’s breakfast includes cod fish and tofu soup, honey chicken breast, shredded ham with scallion oil, shredded cabbage and lettuce in cold sauce, cold okra, pickled anchovies and pepper. There are also egg tart, dim sum, and little miss’s favorite pumpkin toast, oatmeal porridge, millet and red dates soup, and coffee and milk.”

This meal could be said to have included the favorite dishes of everyone in the Mo family.

Mo Wu Hang took a glance around and said: “Do you have bitter gourd?”

“Bitter gourd?” Sister Liu was stunned and shook her head. “Young master, if you want to eat it, I’ll have someone buy it for you.”

“Forget it.” Mo Wu Hang got impatient. He took a look at the porridge pot and said: “What about coffee?”

“I’m sorry young master, I haven’t ground it yet.” A nearby servant hurriedly replied.

“Then go and do it!”

Mo Wu Hang took a cold look at the servant and left the kitchen. He came back in about half an hour later after changing his clothes. Only his hair was a little messy.

The coffee bean that had been grounded was now brewing and a strong fragrance emitted into the air.

Seeing Mo Wu Hang coming, the servant quickly said: “Young master, the coffee is ready.”

“Um.” Mo Wu Hang raised his chin and waved at the servant, “Bring the coffee over here.”

The servant quickly picked up the pot and followed Mo Wu Hang out of the kitchen and into the dining room. A set of exquisite and high-end cups were placed on the dining table, arranged according to where the family members would sit.

Mo Wu Hang cleared his voice: “I had this set of cups custom made. There is a number at the bottom corresponding to our seniority. Second and third brothers are not home so I didn’t bring their cups out. You tell sister Liu to pour the coffee into those cups, do not use the old set. Understood?”

“I understand.” The servant replied.

“Alright. I’m going to have a cup of coffee now. Leave the pot here and get back to your work in the kitchen!”

After Mo Wu Hang drove the servant away, he looked around to ensure that no one was coming. He took out a small packet from his pocket and poured all the powder inside into the cup marked with the number “7”.

Then he filled the cup to the brim with coffee.

The dark rich liquid swirled in the white porcelain. Under the light, the white steam rose with a strong aroma of coffee.

Chapter 3

Knowing that the Mo family members were all in the hospital, Mo Di was relieved. When the taxi arrived at the Mo residence, he hurriedly got off.

“Lit… little master? Why are you already back?!” The guard at the door was stunned, then he quickly approached Mo Di.

Mo Di looked at the security guard and pretended not to see the anger and disgust in his eyes. “I came back to get something. I’ll return to the hospital in a bit. Please give way.”

“Little master you…” the guard was a little surprised. He did not know why the little master seemed to have gotten tough. But looking carefully, it was still the same meekness as always.

In his stupor, Mo Di quickly ran into the villa. Disregarding the look of the other servants, he went straight to his bedroom and put his laptop, ID card, bank card, student card, and other things into a big bag. He did not even pack his clothes and hurried downstairs.

As a result, when he got to the middle of the stair, he suddenly heard a voice that he could not be more familiar with.

“Hurry up, where are you people? Bring Xiao Gui’s favorite juice over. It has to be cold! She didn’t have anything to drink in the car. It’ll be uncomfortable for her to have a dry mouth!”

It’s Mo Wu Hang!!

Mo Di froze a little. An uncontrollable nausea and anger surged from the core of his bones! In a flash Mo Di recalled the countless abuse and violence. Even before he was put in the mental hospital, Mo Wu Hang had once broken his calf bones with an iron bar and refused to let him get treatment to avenge Mo Liu Gui. His whole body was in uncontrollable pain and tremor.

How unexpected. He tried over and over to avoid it yet the first one he met was his good brother Mo Wu Hang!!!

Mo Di’s nails dug deep into his palm.

“Here it is, fifth young master.”

Sister Liu, who was in charge of the kitchen, rushed over and gave Mo Wu Hang a thermos bag. After receiving the drink, Mo Wu Hang did not even look at the stairway in the corner. He turned around and left.

Mo Di was about to breathe a sigh of relief when he heard Sister Liu suddenly said with a smile: “Fifth young master, you’re not leaving with the little master? Just now I heard that the little young master was here to pick up some things.”

“!” Mo Di standing at the stairs felt his heart blocked.

“What???”

Mo Wu Hang was stunned as his eyes gradually turned red. As soon as he raised his eyes and saw Mo Di standing at the stairway, he wanted to catch Mo Di and turn him into a blood cave.

“Mo Di you still dare to come back?! You animal still has the face to come back?!!!”

Mo Wu Hang put the thermos bag containing the juice on the table and rushed forward. He clenched his fist and waved it violently.

“I was about to come looking for you. Who gave you the courage to harm Xiao Gui! You beast!!!”

Seeing a blow rushing forward with the wind, even if Mo Di was willing to cover up his changes for his schemes to work,  he would not let himself be beat up. He turned sideways to avoid Mo Wu Hang’s fist but his hand accidentally slipped and the backpack slid off his shoulder and smashed down directly on Mo Wu Hang’s face on the steps below.

“AH–!!!”

Mo Wu Hang was smacked in the face and let out a screech.

When the other servants saw that Mo Wu Hang was hit and fell to the round, they panicked for a moment. One of them was so shocked that he could not speak smoothly, his legs trampled and he shouted: “It’s broken, it’s broken! Fifth young master’s nose is bleeding. The little master beat him till he had a nosebleed!!!”

“F***…get away!!!”

Mo Wu Hang pushed the people who came to help him aside. He blinked hard, got up from the ground and stared at Mo Di, “ Mo Di you’ve got guts. You even dare to hit me? You’re pretty powerful now eh. You not only used Xiao Gui but also hit me. You’re trying to turn into a real animal?!!”

“I’m not, I…I was careless and the bag just happened to slip off.”

Mo Di looked at Mo Wu Hang in fear The look he would have every time that he was hit for the last seventeen years. The fear caused him to unconsciously step back. He shook his head vigorously, “I didn’t mean to, it wasn’t intentional, fifth brother, I didn’t mean it…”

“You still dare to lie?!!!”

In the future, Mo Wu Hang would be a world-renowned top model, also regarded as one of the sexiest male models in the world. Now he was already 1.85 in height and with muscles fully developed, the look of him trying to beat someone up was really terrifying.

He clenched his knuckles, ran up the stairs and grabbed Mo Di’s collar.

Mo Di’s inside flashed a fierce color but he did not show it. He stepped to one side, turned around and ran. As he ran he begged for mercy: “Fifth brother, I didn’t mean to. I really didn’t mean to. Please don’t hit me. I just came back from the hospital. I haven’t fully recovered yet. Please don’t hit me!”

“I’m going to beat you up, you savage! You even dare to mention that you just left the hospital? Xiao Gui fainted and had not left the hospital yet! Did you apologize?! Did you visit her?!!”

The more he said, the angrier he got: “Damn. Xiao Gui was kind enough to hand you a drink yet you accused her? Even asked if she knew you’re allergic to cocoa?! Let me tell you Mo Di, you better get rid of those garbage intentions of your or I’ll kill you. Whether you have allergies or not has nothing to do with us. Besides, if you died due to your allergies then our family would be clean and void of rubbish like you!”

Mo Wu Hang kept swearing and chasing after Mo Di. As his face got redder with his swearing, he ordered several security guards to block Mo Di’s escape.

Mo Di was blocked in all directions. His eyes turned cold and he simply turned back and ran towards Mo Wu Hang.

Mo Wu Hang did not expect Mo Di to rush at him. He squinted, clasped his fingers and aimed hard at Mo Di’s chest. But unexpectedly, once his feet moved, he somehow slipped and fell on his back. The back of his head hit hard on the ground!

Mo Wu Hang’s fall was so brutal that his sight turned black and he couldn’t even cry out.

The servants were shocked silly and everyone just stood in place but their hearts were shaking involuntarily. Luckily someone then responded and hurriedly helped Mo Wu Hang who was still lying on the ground.

Everyone was pondering what actually happened today. In the past when the fifth young master was teaching the little master a lesson, it always went smoothly. But today the fifth young master not only got his nose bled but also hit his head!!!

It’s the head! If something were to go wrong, them servants would not be able to handle the Mo family’s grudge.

Mo Di then went to casually pick up the empty jelly packet and put it in his pocket, leaving no trace. Then he walked timidly to Mo Wu Hang and picked up his own backpack.

“I… I’ll go look for second uncle and aunt. I’ll ask them to send fifth brother to the hospital!”

Mo Di threw out the sentence and hurriedly ran out of the villa gate. The servants and security guards were in a mess and no one came to stop him. But as soon as he was relieved, he saw the Mo family’s largest elongated Lincoln slowly stopping at the iron gate of the villa.

Mo Di’s heart stopped and he clenched his teeth.

It’s amazing how coincidental this was. It seemed that no matter how hard he tried, the power of the world would always urge things to move in a direction that was disadvantageous to him.

“Oh? Isn’t it Xiao Di? Xiao Di is back.”

The first ones to get off were his eldest uncle, Mo Shi Qiang, and his wife, Lin Rou Fen. Lin Rou Fen saw Mo Di at a glance, smiled and shouted towards the car. “Third brother and sister in law, your family’s Xiao Di is back!”

“How dare that ingrate come back!”

When Mo Shi Hong pulled down the car window and saw Mo Di, there was anger and undisguised dislike in his eyes. As if he was not looking at his own son but an enemy.

However because of his precious daughter, Mo Shi Hong did not immediately teach Mo Di a lesson. He turned his head, shifted into a kind and gentle mode, and said in a soft voice, “Come good daughter, careful when you get out of the car. Later on, don’t pay attention to that savage. You have to recuperate. Don’t get angry or think too much.”

“Dad, don’t say that about Xiao Di. I…was actually wrong. Is he home? I also wanted to see him. Mo Liu Gui’s sweet and soft voice was vaguely heard from the car.

“Xiao Gui, you didn’t do anything wrong. Third uncle is right, Mo Di did such a thing, his mind is particularly poisonous. You can’t just forgive him for everything. This will make him more unbridled!” A young clear voice interrupted Mo Liu Gui, then gently said, “Xiao Gui, you are still too kind, too naive. Just let us deal with Mo Di. Are you still dizzy now? Anemia is actually a big problem. Don’t take it lightly. Even though those doctors said it’s ok doesn’t mean nothing’s wrong!”

“Thank you fourth brother. I’m not dizzy. Right now I’m not dizzy at all.”

Mo Liu Gui said as she smiled under the care and concern of others. She then lifted her skirt and got out of the car. When she alighted and saw Mo Di, her eyes suddenly brightened. “Xiao Di you’re back. I was about to visit you at the hospital. Are you better now?”

Mo Di looked a little scared and he took a step back. He quickly replied: “I’m…I’m ok.”

At least I’m not dead.

“It’s good that you’re ok. I’m sorry, I didn’t know that you were allergic to cocoa.” Mo Liu Gui said apologetically. “I’ve never seen you have any allergic reaction before, so…”

Never seen it before?

Mo Di felt laughable in his heart. He bowed his head and whispered: “Sis, actually… actually after the mid-term exam in junior high I drank cocoa by mistake once and was given emergency treatment. Sis you were travelling with dad and mom and fifth brother. You even gave me a call. Did you forget?”

That time he laid in the hospital for eight days. In the depth of his memories, his family members only called him once and not a person paid him a visit.

Mo Liu Gui’s face turned red with shame, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I don’t remember, I…”

“Mo Di!!!”

Before Mo Liu Gui could finish speaking, Mo Shi Hong’s deep voice exploded. Suppressing his infinite anger he said, “You ingrate! You still want to hurt your sister?!!”

“You are trying to anger me to death. How could I give birth to a thing like you!”

When Mo Shi Hong saw that Mo Di tried to repeat his offense of trying to make his baby daughter blame herself to the point of falling sick, he suppressed his anger and said: “You’re really daring, even got the guts to blame your sister right in front of us!”

Mo Di looked as though he was shaken by his words, he shook his head quickly: “No, Dad, I just wanted to say that I’ve always been allergic to cocoa. My allergy did not suddenly appear and I did not want to harm my sister, I just…”

“You just what? Shut up for me!” A beautiful woman with a clear face came over quickly and gave Mo Di a menacing look. Mo Di hurriedly lowered his head and his eyes turned red.

The woman then looked at Mo Liu Gui anxiously. She held her hand and said softly: “Xiao Gui, my Xiao Gui, don’t think about it. Don’t let mom worry. It’s not your fault for not remembering! None at all! No one in our family remembers what he’s allergic to. Whatever he’s allergic to has nothing to do with anybody. Nothing to do with you. My dear daughter you don’t have to be so kind. Don’t take responsibility for everything. If anything were to happen to you because of his little problem, what will mom do!”

“Alright, let’s talk inside. Why are you making all this ruckus out here!” Mo grandfather who got off last knocked his cane on the floor and voiced his dissatisfaction: “Third son’s wife, it’s too sunny out here, take Xiao Gui inside and let her have a rest.”

“I know father.” The woman quickly responded and pulled Mo Liu Gui’s hand: “Let’s go Xiao Gui. We’ll talk inside the house.”

“That’s right that’s right. It’s so sunny outside, better to talk in the house. Xiao Gui is anemic, we can’t take it lightly. Don’t let her stay in the sun for too long.”

A group of people walked through the courtyard and into the villa. The Mo Di who was standing at the side was to them almost like a transparent person they did not need to bother with.

Mo Di hung his head. This familiar treatment, his heart had long been numbed to it.

Since little, except when being scolded and beaten, wasn’t he just like an invisible person? Neglect, unfairness, mental and physical abuse… these treatments he knew them by heart.

Mo Di endured. Just endure till those people entered the villa then he could leave.

As it turned out, before he could move, Mo grandfather’s voice suddenly rang, “Third son, bring your son inside. We Mo family has rules and regulations. There’s no way he can get off without receiving any punishment after hurting someone!”

Mo Shi Hong flashed a look of disgust. He impatiently ordered the guards: “Go and bring that beast in and tie him up!”

The author has something to say:

Mo family has seven grandchildren: Mo Yi(1) Cheng , Mo Er(2) Qian, Mo San(3) Zhi, Mo Si(4) Lang, Mo Wu(5) Hang, Mo Liu(6) Gui, and Mo Di. If you can’t remember who they are just remember the middle character of their names. Yi, Er, San, Si, Wu, Liu (numbers one to six in Chinese. Mo Di’s name does not follow this pattern and there’ll be an explanation for it in a later chapter.)

Amongst them, Mo Yi and Mo Si (1 and 4) belong to the eldest uncle’s family. The twins Mo Er, Mo San, and Mo Wu (2, 3, and 5) belong to the second uncle’s family. Mo Liu Gui and Mo Di are Mo Shi Hong and his wife’s children.

RCFN Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Mo Di put to good use the fighting skills he learned from his previous life after leaving the Mo family on Zhu Wen Ze.

Zhu Wen Ze’s eyes turned red in his anger and pain. He swore at Mo Di brutally but it was useless. The crew cut boy wanted to pull MoDi away but Mo Di kicked him in the calf and he knelt down in pain.

Only when he heard that someone was coming then he released his hand and stepped aside.

“Mo Di, MoDi You’re dead!” the red eyed Zhu Wen Ze who was finally freed stood up and gave Mo Di a brutal kick.

“What are you doing? What are you doing?” At the door was a male doctor and a nurse. The male doctor quickly pulled Zhu Wen Ze away.

“What are you doing? This is a hospital ward. If you’re looking for trouble then get out. What’s worse, you’re hitting a patient who’s still sick, what’s your problem?”

“What are you guys trying to do? This kid has only got better these two days and you’re attacking him?” The elderly nurses nearby were also very displeased and they looked at Zhu Wen Ze and his friend like they were looking at a scumbag.

Zhu Wen Ze’s face was red as beet and he was inexplicably embarrassed. He wanted to beat Mo Di till he was disabled but he knew that he could not continue, he could only give him a glare: “Don’t think that by pretending nobody would know your true face. Everyone in school is very clear. Just you wait and see!”

Zhu Wen Ze pushed the male doctor away and ran out of the ward. The other boy quickly followed him and left behind a sentence: “You people don’t think that he’s the good one, he’s just acting.”

The male doctor and the head nurse looked at each other and ignored the boys’ words. They just sighed in their hearts and could not help but felt sorry for the boy in front of them.

When the boy was sent here a week ago, it was almost a lost cause. It was not easy saving him from death. Not to mention that no family member had visited him the past few days, he even met up with these two today, it was really…ai.

As soon as the doctor wanted to say a few comforting words to Mo Di, he saw that Mo Di had turned and went back to his bed, covering himself completely in the blanket.

The small bulge on the bed looked pitiful and lonely. The male doctor paused and said: “Mo Di, don’t think too much. Have a good rest.” He then closed the door gently and left with the nurse.

In the blanket, Mo Di raised his hands to cover his face. Blue veins appeared on his slightly shaking hands. His eyes were deep red.

But it was not because of sadness or anger, it was of excitement.

He had changed it. He had changed the original plot. Changed his original ‘fate’. During this time in his previous life, he was violently forced to apologize, exposing his ‘malice’ and ‘hypocrisy’ and was ‘face slapped’ by Mo Liu Gui… and criticized by thousands of people.

But now at least he had managed to change one part of it.

Mo Di buried his face in the pillow. The corner of his mouth hooked and there was a hint of coldness in his eyes.

The next day, Mo Di got up early. Carrying his school bag, he went to complete his discharge procedure with the doctor.

Now that his allergic reaction had almost subsided, he did not need to be hospitalized. More importantly, he had a hunch that his fifth brother, Mo Wu Hang, would come to find trouble with him. He had to stay away for now.

After all, Mo Wu Hang was the most ruthless and impulsive of his five ‘brothers’. He did not forget that in his last life, after the Mo family had sent him to the mental hospital, to avenge Mo Liu Gui, Mo Wu Hang not only let people break his leg but also let the doctor inject him with morphine!

To be honest, dying at the hands of the mad man might have been a better end for him.

Mo Di’s eyes turned cold and he showed a sarcastic smile. But in the next moment, he turned back to the young and innocent student.

The doctor wanted Mo Di to stay a few more days to stabilize his condition but seeing Mo Di’s insistent, he had no choice but to agree.

“Your allergies have not fully subsided yet. When you go back, remember to rest. These medications have to be taken on time for at least three days, understood?”

“I’ll remember. Thank You.”

Mo Di nodded as he looked at the doctor sincerely and gratefully. The sunlight pouring from the window happened to shine on him, covering his white and tender cheek with a thin film of light. His clear eyes and long eyelashes brightened by the sunlight, making him look particularly good natured.

This good natured appearance made the head nurse beside him felt soft and she added: “Also some food cannot be eaten. Chives and donkey meat, all these things don’t touch them.”

“Um, thank you aunty. I’ll remember.” Mo Di smiled at the head nurse and a little dimple appeared on his right cheek.

“How obedient.” The head nurse’s eyes became more loving and then she thought of something and said: “Those two troublemaker who came yesterday, are they your classmates? When you return to school you should look out for them. They didn’t visit you when you were in emergency care. You’re still sick and yet they wanted to hit you, those two aren’t good children!”

Mo Di did not speak anymore. He nodded then lowered his head, waiting for the doctor to write his prescription.

The head nurse looked at the child whose eyes had turned a little red and sighed with sympathy. At the same time she also felt all the more dislike towards the two male students. Those two probably also regularly bullied others. They looked decent but are actually jerks.

Mo Di’s lip angle slightly moved then returned to normal.

Sure enough, just as he thought last night. The fundamental core principle of the world – everyone loves Mo Liu Gui and hates Mo Di – this effect’s coverage was actually limited. It could not affect the passer-by or those who weren’t even passer-by.

He had a conjecture, or rather an unknown premotionition that if he wanted to change his original destiny, or the original track of the world, he should not only change the direction of the plot but also strive to win as many favors and biases as possible from the people outside of the protagonist’s camp!

After all, he was a lone weak person. Even if he tried his best to change the way things happened, if by any chance he was forced into the mental hospital again and nobody helped him, what was the use of his efforts?!

He never thought that he had a chance against everyone who loved Mo Liu Gui. After all, it was not just the Mo family but also the male leads, most of whom had powerful identities. That was how they managed to dote Mo Liu Gui to the heavens, making her the most admired ‘princess’ in the whole country. If these people joined up to deal with him, he did not think he could survive.

Mo Di clenched his fists and grinded his teeth.

In any case, he would not allow himself to share the same fate as his last life. And he will definitely not let himself be pushed to such an end like a sad clown.

He will do everything to change the direction of his fate and the trajectory of the world. He had to gain favor and win over the good faith from those who could help him even if he had to disguise himself and take advantage of others.

As long as he could change his original fate!

After the discharge procedure, Mo Di thanked the doctor and head nurse. He then left the hospital.

The sun was shining bright outside the hospital, covering everything with a gold film. Mo Di wore his school uniform and backpack, walking on the pathway and pondering where he should lodge.

But before he could come up with a solution, Mo Di’s pupil unconditionally shrank slightly. He stared at a tall figure at the intersection in front.

That, that man was Mu….

Mu Tian Heng?!!!

In his last life, before his death, Mu Tian Heng was the world’s third richest man. He was even more powerful and renowned compared to Hua Xia’s richest man, Qin Guo Shen! That Mu Tian Heng?!!!

Mo Di breathed slowly and looked at the tall and handsome man more than ten meters away who carried an indescribable momentum and nobility. He unconsciously stopped his step.

What’s this? How could Mu Tian Heng be in the capital? Shouldn’t he be in America at this time?

Besides, wasn’t he a handicap? His leg, why did they seem…normal?!!

Mu Tian Heng did not discover Mo Di’s line of sight. Or rather he was already used to being in the spotlight at any occasion and numbed to the gazes that cast on him. He walked towards a Maybach parked on the side of the road, opened the door and got in.

A golden hair and blue eyed man in the copilot seat was grinning and let out a howl. Turned his head and said to Mu Tian Heng: “Mu, I’m dead jealous of you.”

“What?” Mu Tian Heng glanced at Lai De Si, slightly raised his eyebrow and smiled casually: “I know you’re not as good as me but I still want to remind you not to be envious. Facing up to the gap between us is conducive to your personal growth.”

“Yeah right!” Lai De Si choked and grinded his teeth: “I think all those pretty boys and girls who like you are all blind. You have such a poisonous mouth yet there are waves of beautiful people queuing up to like you?!”

Mu Tian Heng smiled and looked at Lai De Si: “I know you’re still jealous.”

Lai De Si rolled his eyes: “Che!”

He took a look at the childhood friend whose eyes were as if carved from the star. A casual smile could bring a charm like the melting snow in the spring. From his fingertips to hair, there was a presence of prestige. Lai De Si told himself not to be angered by this pervert. There’s always a mountain higher. He himself was also a popular, talented, and good looking man. There’s no reason to compare himself to this pervert who had an excellent brain and body. Don’t mind, don’t mind.

“I’m too lazy to give a damn about you!”

Lai De Si grunted, ready to take another look at the beautiful young man to comfort his eyes.

Ai, actually he was jealous. He can see at a glance that the kid just now was a gem amongst the beautiful youngsters. That waist, that leg, and that face, were just that! Unfortunately one look and he was mesmerized by that animal Mu Tian Heng. Just now, once he looked at Mu Tian Heng he even stopped walking. Heaven does not have eyes!!

Seeing Lai De Si looking back, Mu Tian Heng also glanced back casually, just in time to see a very handsome young man turning away.

Advertisements

The teenager’s halo-like side face was slightly drooping. The high and delicate nose bridge divided the light and shadow. The tip of his eyes were like a landscape painting, a slow long stroke that was curved then carefully let the color sink in. Extremely hard to describe yet very attractive. Even from a distance, Mu Tian Heng could almost see the dark jade like luster in his eyes. And the long eyelashes under the sunshine added a charming touch to the painting.

“You beast!” Not letting Mu Tian Heng enjoy another second, Lai De Si’s voice exploded in Mu Tian Heng’s ears, “You beast, stop looking!”

“Beast?”

Mu Tian Heng retrieved his sight and looked at Lai De Si: “What? You can look but I can’t?”

“We’re different. I’m just simply appreciating the view. Can’t say the same for you.”Lai De Si did not expect that in a flash, this ‘animal in disguise’ Mu Tian Heng was already eyeing the boy. It’s just infuriating!

“What’s the difference? I’m not a playboy who would casually hook up with anyone.” Mu Tian Heng evaluated himself. He was definitely a clean person in his private life and would not start relationships casually.

“I’m not saying that you would casually hook up with others.” Lai De Si said: “It’s just that you’re very likely to hook up with this kid. To be honest, just before you got in the car, that kid was already looking at you. He was stunned just by looking at you and even forgot to walk. One look and he’s already fascinated by you. It’s particularly annoying!”

“Is that so?”

Mu Tian Heng suddenly smiled, narrowed his eyes and shifted his long legs: “Although saying this might sound a little narcissistic, I still want to clarify. Even if this little guy really likes me, I do not have any intentions towards such a small child.”

Lai De Si: “Ha Ha.”

Meanwhile, Mo Di saw Mu Tian Heng got into the car. He quickly jotted down the license plate and then left.

He did not know why Mu Tian Heng would be in the capital at this time but combined with his previous life, he could not help but make a conjecture. Maybe Mu Tian Heng came to the capital for some reason the year before his company was listed and somehow something happened which led to the disability of his right leg!

And that leg could not be cured at all. In an interview regarding Mu Tian Heng’s company on its first anniversary, that disabled leg, along with his youth, talent, and noble appearance, were attached to his reputation and spread throughout the world.

But the handicapped yet still incredibly talented Mu Tian Heng were mentioned in less than ten lines in the book. It was in the extra chapters when Qin Cheng Yi and Mo Liu Gui were talking in bed and they happened to mention him as “a lame and twisted rich old man” to contrast Qin Cheng Yi’s youth and talent. And this not-even-deserved-to-be-a-cannon-fodder old man, isn’t he the most suitable one for him to approach?!!

As for the “twisted” part, what exactly was it referring to? He was not too bothered by it. As long as he could achieve his goal, as long as he could ‘use’ the old man’s connections and abilities, he could handle anything.

Mo Di recovered his focus and hid the flash in his eyes. He bit his teeth and turned to call a cab. He decided that for the sake of his plan, he would have to make a trip back to the Mo house.

“Uncle. Please hurry. I have an urgent matter.”

“Got it.”

The driver uncle stepped on the accelerator and the car joined the traffic.

After Mo Di settle down, he turned on his phone to check the whereabouts of Mo Wu Hang. Although for the plan to work, he had to have his laptop and bank card but if those brothers were home then he could only change to another day.

Mo Di opened his friends’ group chat and happened to see Mo Liu Gui’s recent post.

“I’ll be out of the hospital soon. My brothers are doing the discharge procedures. Thank you for everyone’s concern! [heart][heart][heart] these few days in the hospital it was not very comfortable but good thing dad, mom, grandpa, and my brothers accompanied me. Alot of classmates also came to visit. I also felt there’s nothing to it now, I’m already very happy. Love you all! And everyone please don’t blame my little brother, he didn’t mean to and I was also wrong. It’s almost the college entrance exam, I hope you all will pay attention to your health so we can fight together!!!”

Below were a few welcomes and blessings, as well as… the expected mockery towards his accusation.

“Our goddess Liu Gui is coming back, scattering flowers!!!”

“It’s good that you’re ok. Seeing you faint from crying scared me to death. I was so worried and scared. Xiao Gui, you are too kind. It’s all because of that Mo Di, if not you won’t fall ill. Who could remember what he’s allergic to. Even pretended that he’s dying because of it. Such a drama queen.”

“Liu Gui please have a full check up. Confirm that there’s no problem before leaving the hospital. We’re waiting for your return! That Mo Di is too vicious! Stop being kind to him or you’ll be taken advantage of. You’ve treated him so well yet he’s still ungrateful!”

“Liu Gui’s father, mother, and brothers are all so good. How loving! Sour with envy!!!”

“Although the goddess said that he was not to blame but I’m still mad. As expected the goddess is a princess inside out. She is too kind. Just let that Mo Di make a fool of himself!”

“…”

Mo Di took a quick look, turned off the chat interface and smiled lightly.

In fact, he was glad that he was not forced to apologize in this life. In turn, Mo Liu Gui posted one less sentence which would have stated that she accepted his apology, and hence not making his ‘accusation’ a sealed deal and the posts that swear at him were not as many.

Really… worthy to be congratulated.

Hearing Mo Di’s sudden laugh, the driver in front asked: “What’s up? What are you smiling at, little fellow?”

“It’s nothing, uncle.”

Mo Di smiled but his voice was not warm: “I just happened to see something interesting.”

RCFN Chapter 1

Noises and cries, delirious howlings and roarings. The dreary sound of table and chairs in violent collision. A sharp screeching of a chair leg dragging across the floor. All was happening the same time a strong smell of blood was emitting violently from the nose and eyes.

 Mo Di had passed away.

But after his death, he found that he did not lose consciousness, instead, he was leaving his body… no, it should be his corpse, and floating over the auditorium of the Second Psychiatric Hospital of the capital city.

It took Mo Di ten seconds to accept the fact that he had died and become a ghost. He looked coldly at the corpse on the ground, at the mishmash of blood and skin on his temple, his hospital clothes that were stained with black and red, and his deformed and ugly ankles.

He felt that his death was quite nasty but what about it. His whole life has been nasty.

He did not know where all the doctors and nurses that were in the hall before went. Only the mentally ill were left screaming in the hall. The front and back doors were already locked and in the chaos, several patients covered with blood fell down and the body count continued to rise.

At this time, a loud out of place romantic music exploded through the riot. Mo Di swept his eyes across and saw that one of the patients had stepped on the remote control and the television screen in the hall was tuned to a Hua Xia entertainment channel.

On the screen was a match made in heaven. In the crowded, romantic, and luxurious Diamond Rose Hall, petals were flying. A pair dressed in ceremonial attire were kissing passionately, a picture that is so touchingly beautiful.

As the camera passed by, Modi saw the familiar faces of his ‘family members’. Everyone in the Mo family was shedding tears of joy.

Mo Di suddenly remembered that today was the wedding day of Qin Cheng Yi, the son of the richest man in Hua Xia, and Mo Liu Gui, the young movie queen and also the Mo family’s big miss. Because they were both popular and were big shots in Hua Xia, this wedding was particularly attention-grabbing. Any entertainment channel you tune to would be broadcasting this event.

At the same time it was also his birthday.

They’ve picked a pretty good day. Mo Di tilted his head and looked at his ugly and disgusting corpse. His heart which had been numb and cold still could not help but feel pain and hate.

An excited psychopath with distorted facial features ran past, trampling on the face of his corpse, causing a piece of skin to fall off.

Mo Di suddenly smiled, not realizing a black aura had begun surrounding his astral body. He looked back at his life and only thought that it was a ridiculous tragedy, an absurd comedy!

He really did not understand why the Mo family treated him as such nor did he understand what he did wrong. Since young he was just the sad contrast of his sister.

Ever since he could remember, he had not been liked by everyone in the Mo family. His mother never cared for him, his father never hugged him, his grandfather never smiled at him, and his brothers either ignored him or hit him.

On the contrary, Mo Lin Gui, his twin sister, was the little princess of the whole family. No matter how clever and obedient he was, the unobtainable praises that he longed for his sister would have heard them a thousand times.

His mother’s hug which he could not even ask for would forever belong to his sister only.

In his memories, the father who was always serious and disdainful towards him would carry his sister on his back, hugged her, place her on his shoulders, and even kissed her feet, calling her his darling.

And those brothers who either ignored him or disliked him and occasionally beat him up for no reason would dote on his sister to the point of becoming a sister freak.

Mo Di quietly shed red tears of sorrow, staring at the happy and elegant Mo family members.

He originally thought that he had no longer cared or expected anything, but now he was dead. When the Mo family was blissful and full of laughter, he had died an ugly death in this filthy mental hospital! Sadness and bitterness still accumulated and formed an uncontrollable hatred, assaulting his gradually collapsing mentality.

Mo Di suddenly turns around and rushes towards the closed door. He wanted to see the romantic scene of the so-called wedding of the century that the whole country was so focused on. He wanted to see his noble and elegant family members and the “good friends” that had betrayed him and collaborated with his family to send him to this mental hospital! He wanted to see just how happy they were!

But he could not go through the walls of the mental hospital.

Mo Di did not notice that his soul was filled with a black aura which spread from his heart to his body, passing through his limbs and face. But when the black aura was thick enough to condense into substance, a white light from nowhere suddenly exploded and shrouded Mo Di.

In the center of the white light was a book.

Mo Di waved his hands to flick the book away but the book remained in place no matter what he did to it, forcing him to read its contents.

After sometime, Mo Di returned to his senses. He had already left the mental hospital, following his body to the crematorium. He unconsciously shed two drops of blood red tears.

It turned out that his life was just a joke arranged by others. It turned out that him, Mo Di…was just a cannon fodder in a popular novel titled “Everyone Loves Me Crazily” in which his character was used to show the contrast between how much love and happiness the main heroine received compared to him…

…and nothing more.

Therefore he deserved to be loved by no one? Deserve to be hated, rejected, and suffer? Deserved to be disliked by his family since birth? Deserved to be treated with double standards? Deserved to be betrayed by friends because they adored his sister? Deserved to be sent to a mental hospital after he “harmed” his sister by making her fall? Deserved to be tortured repeatedly and finally died in the hands of these mental patients?

Mo Di looked at the book and viewed his sister from an almighty perspective. From the day she was born, she was loved to madness by everyone around her. Her whole life was sweet sweet sweet and loved loved loved. It was a loved and happy life without logic. Through the book, he also saw himself. It was a short life of being hated, rejected, ignored and betrayed.

Mo Di’s feet were stained with blood red tears. He wanted to laugh but he could not do it. He reached out and tried to tear up the book that designed his life as such a sad joke.

Then a golden light suddenly sprang from the book and completely enveloped him.

The capital, the Third Hospital inpatient ward.

In a room with a faint smell of disinfectant, bright rays of light passed through the blue curtain and fell on the head of the hospital bed, making the young man on the sick bed paler.

A breeze flew by and the young man’s long eyelashes trembled. He slowly opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling until his eyes were red and astringent. Only then did he close them and press back the emotional tears.

Mo Di pressed his finger tips against the palm of his hand. The pain spreaded throughout his nerves, layer by layer but he only felt fascinated like an old time smoker smoking a good cigarette. He increased his strength to make the pain sharper and more intense.

He was reborn…he was unexpectedly reborn?!!

He, who was killed by a violent madman, turned into a ghost and was revealed by a mysterious power that he was just a cannon fodder used to set off how beloved the main heroine was, was reborned.

Mo Di took a hard breath and tried to spit out all the complicated emotions in his heart but it was in vain. In his heart there was only anger, sorrow, and hate, roaring like a harsh wind crashing against his brain and chest.

At this time, a loud noise accompanied by impatient footsteps hit his ears.

Mo Di’s heart pounded. He hurriedly suppressed the surging emotions in his heart. When he opened his eyes and turned his head, he was faced with a handsome boy in a western school uniform, rushing through the door. He was followed by a boy with a crew cut head.

Mo Di looked at the handsome boy who was charging angrily towards him, slightly stunned. He then sneered in his heart.

Was this not his best friend in high school… Zhu Wen Ze.

The Zhu Wen Ze who because of his affection for Mo Liu Gui, approached him and became his good brother, but on the outside would always “inadvertently” misinterpreted his behaviors to make an impression on Mo Liu Gui, and in the end, collaborated with the Mo family to send him to the mental hospital. That’s his good brother Zhu Wen Ze.

Mo Di lowered his eyes and clenched his fists. The violent elements in his blood were surging.

Not expecting Mo Di to still be so calm and not have a trace of shame or repentance, Zhu Wen Ze got angrier. He picked up his pace towards Mo Di’s bedside and asked angrily: “Mo Di what’s the meaning of this, not even the least guilty?! You’re just as Wu Hang brother said. I was wrong about you!”

“I’ll give you one last chance! Follow me to apologize to Liu Gui. She’s kind and tolerant, she’ll definitely forgive you. But you can’t bully her just because she’s kind and easy to talk to! You even tried to harm her!”

He bullied and harmed Mo Liu Gui?!

Hearing this, Mo Di felt ridiculous and angry. Unaffected, he glanced at his surroundings and suddenly remembered which period this was in his previous life.

It seemed this was the time in his senior year when he once drank something given by Mo Liu Gui. Within five minutes, his body was red and swollen. He had difficulty breathing and almost died of suffocation. In the end he was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. Before being carried into the ambulance, he asked Mo Liu Gui a question: did she not know that he was allergic to cocoa.

After all, he did not want to believe that the elder sister who had always shown great care and concern towards him was just like everyone else in the Mo family…she did not actually care about him at all.

But it was this sentence that made a huge mess. Not only did everyone think that he was questioning Mo Liu Gui’s personality and hated her, but Mo Liu Gui also cried till she fainted because she was sad and ashamed.

Mo Liu Gui fainted, and hence he had become a criminal who cannot be forgiven.

Almost everyone believed that he not only resented Mo Liu Gui, but also intended to blacken her name and stimulated her to faint. There were even those who thought that he drank it on purpose and the reason was that he did not die in the end. He schemed against Mo Liu Gui but the conspiracy was discovered.

After his discharge from the hospital, the Mo family’s anger and the disgust from his peers all poured on him. The criticism, abuse, and isolation… his already difficult life reached another peak. He could not even remember how he got through that month, let alone the college entrance exam.

All the things from his precious life unfolded in his mind. Mo Di’s dark thoughts at the depth of his being could not help but emerge again. He pressed his feelings down and did not show any sign on his face. He opened his eyes weakly and looked at Zhu Wen Ze.

“Wen Ze, what’s wrong with you today? What nonsense are you talking about? This is a ridiculous slander!”

“I slandered you? How can I slander you!” Zhu Wen Ze didn’t expect Mo Di to quibble, he got even angrier, “the way that you questioned Liu Gui, isn’t it to blame her, to resent her?! Mo Di did you want to smear her name by insinuating that she did not care about you or are you accusing her of deliberately causing your allergies?!”

“I didn’t! That was not my intention!”

“Just because you say so and that’s it? Come on, we’re not idiots. What kind of thoughts you harbor, can we not see clearly. Liu Gui’s good intention is being turned to a malicious intent. She treated you so well but still got bitten by you! Mo Di you’re so poisonous!”

“I really didn’t think that way!” Mo Di’s eyes turned red and struggled to get up from bed.

Zhu Wen Ze did not believe him at all. He stared at Mo Di: “It’s useless for you to argue. Besides, we don’t know that you are allergic to cocoa but you should’ve always known isn’t it? You know you’re allergic to cocoa yet you still drank it, Mo Di could it be that you did it on purpose.”

“I did it on purpose?!”

Mo Di stood up and stared at Zhu Wen Ze in disbelief. His eyes turned red and he had to take a breath before speaking out: “I had a cold that day, plus there was not much cocoa in the drink, I didn’t detect the taste so I drank two or three gulps. You said it was intentional? If I was sent to the hospital any later I would’ve been dead. Zhu Wen Ze you tell me if that was intentional?!!!”

“Aren’t you fine and healthy now. Isn’t this a big profitable plan? You’re ok but Liu Gui has fainted!”

“Zhu Wen Ze you…” Mo Di stared at him with red eyes and his voice trembled: “you’re flipping right and wrong! When you said that don’t you feel… don’t you feel you’ve lost your conscience?!!!”

“I’ve lost my conscience?!!”

Zhu Wen Ze has never been angered so much by the “hypocrite” and docile Mo Di. His anger went up three fold and he did not want to feign courtesy as usual. He walked up to Mo Di with a cold face and looked down at him: “Mo Di your skin is really thick. You even have to guts to say that other people have no conscience?!!”

“Let me tell you, you don’t have to argue and keep pretending. No one will believe you! Whether it’s your brothers, father, mother, or grandfather, even our classmates, we’ve all seen through you. In fact I did not want to tell you off since we’ve been friends for several years. But putting aside the usual act that you put on show, now in order to hurt Liu Gui, you’re even cruel enough to hurt yourself just to cause her harm. You’re not just an ordinary evil, you’re not even an ordinary human being!”

“I’m not just an ordinary evil?”

Mo Di grabbed the bed sheets and almost tore it apart: “Zhu Wen Ze, we’ve been friends for three years. Three years! And yet you still don’t understand me? That’s how you’ve always thought of me?!”

“Of course it wasn’t all the time. I’ve only found out about your true face not long ago.” Zhu Wen Ze spoke with a calm face. He looked at Mo Di contemptuously and reached for Mo Di’s arm.

“No matter what, you have to apologize to Liu Gui today. If she forgives you then we…”

“Then we’ll what?”

Mo Di shook off Zhu Wen Ze’s hand. His eyes red as he sneered, his expression turned cold: “Zhu Wen Ze, I’m finally clear. You’re just trying to pin this on me! This is pure accusation! I don’t know why you’re doing this but let me tell you this accusation I will not bear or did I ever thought of doing it! No way! I’m not going!!”

“I’m accusing you?! Liu Gui fainted, and you said I’m accusing you! Mo Di you’re f**ing shameless! Just plain disgusting! You get up for me…. AH!!!”

Zhu Wen Ze’s face was suddenly punched by Mo Di and let out a cry. He was furious. He looked at Mo Di in disbelief and extreme anger, as if he had been greatly humiliated.

“F** you Mo Di, you dare to hit me?!!”

The next moment he raised his fist towards MoDi who was standing in front of the sick bed.

“Wen Ze!”

The crew cut boy next to him was frightened. He half intended to stop him but in his heart, he also hated Mo Di who had caused his goddess to faint. Therefore his action was only pretense, he was actually looking forward to seeing Mo Di’s demise.

Unfortunately, at the next second, the schadenfreude expression on his face was frozen stiff.

Mo Di folded Zhu Wen Ze’s arm with one hand, causing him to bare his teeth in pain. He then kicked Zhu Wen Ze hard on the knee and with a poof sound, he was kneeling on the ground.

The author has something to say: MC was abused all his life, from his birth to till his death. It’s a tragic and absurd tragedy. Rebirth was his lucky chance to change his fate. He is a schemer therefore his attitude towards people are not always sincere.
